Would be a perfect fit for 12 months on a loan.

Quality keeper and allows Dovin to get up to speed for next year

I don't think the player is interested in a loan and that is why he isn't going to Rangers

Harsh on Dovin but if its a signing that gets us out the league we need to do it.

How come he only played 2 games last year? was he injured?

His weaknesses sound like he'll fit right in.

You’d hope they could push each other one.

Joined Hull, got injured started to break into the side and was recalled by Brighton cause Jason Steele (their usual No. 2) picked up an injury himself

Rangers Move ‘Is Off’ For Star Coventry City Hold ‘Strong Interest’ In

A move to Rangers appears to be off the table for goalkeeper Carl Rushworth, but Coventry City are showing interest in him.

We cannot start the season with just Collins and Wilson and hope it'll do untill Dovin is back, Lampard must be pulling out his hair having them two, we need a GK and if we signed Rushworth then having two strong GK pushing each other is brilliant, I can't keep having my anxiety hit the roof week in week out

If Brighton aren't sanctioning the loan to Rangers it probably suggests we're in for him on a permanent.

The rumour mill last season was that a fee had been accepted for Collins, so now hopefully that they are back in England , things might get moving ?

But only 2 starts last season , I understand there were reasons why but he's played less than 50 games at our level . 6m seems an awful lot

Sources: Rangers accelerate goalkeeper signing as loan deal edges closer

To be fair it could also be that Rangers couldn't offer suitable game time with Butland and Kelly still there. But I would've assumed he was going in as a strong contender for the No.1 spot.

Would be nice to have two solid keepers fighting for the number one spot when Dovins fit.

Loan with a view to permanent if we got promoted would be a decent offer. I doubt the £6 mil fee is reliable as it was from Facebook.

No where else has that fee, just the fact we've been in close talks.

Not saying it’s six million but interesting only one championship team has been mentioned as having a bid and then we are mentioned as interested.

Wouldnt shock me if we are trying to sign on a perm

I assume this also means Collins is set to be moved on, especially as he didn't feature at all in the friendly today.

Wasn't he on loan at Swansea a couple of seasons ago?
Thought he was pretty average then.

Surely it’s the end and no surprise we’re linked with a keeper. We just be actively looking to move him out.
