I kind of agree. But you never know the state of the clubs getting relegated from the Prem. This season it was the turn of Luton.
Next season could be very interesting. Leicester? Their supporters are boycotting. They should be getting a points deduction. Their main striker qualifies for his free bus pass in a few years. Southampton? Trying to break records but all for the wrong reasons. Both sides will have to change their squads.
I already stated robins had plenty of credit in the bank , lampard has none
Robins was very succesful here there's no debate , and last season fans probably gave him the benefit for reaching the fa cup semi finalCredit for failing?
It's all I do but I get jumped on for defending Robins and jumped on for defending Lampard. Then I get jumped on for saying something against Robins and jumped on for saying something against LampardThats all I'm doing , everybody is happy to praise the good run which featured lady luck on our side a couple times ..
But its currently poor and only a win saturday will glaze over that
They also have alot of very good championship players under contract which helpsWould love to see Leicester fall, but they’ve got more lives than a cat that refuses to pay its suppliers.
Yes he failed at Wembley just after taking over. Then he failed in our first season in League 2. He failed when we went to Northampton and then Birmingham meaning we didn't have any proper home games. He failed in his wheeling and dealing which ended up with us having Gyokeres and Hamer which were sold to pay for the squad we now have. He even failed when we became League 1 champions whilst playing our home games in Birmingham.Credit for failing?
I recently gave a theory on what I think has happened and why he’s done it. Drilling the players in just one system so they properly understand what they’re doing, which will naturally come unstuck against well prepared opposition but do fine against certain styles regardless. The home form is good
Recently he has shown zero pragmatism away from home
Overall he did a very good job. You have to be the ultimate contrarian to say otherwiseCredit for failing?
More Ifs than Rudyard Kiplings publishers there.
Were the same as WBA Millwall Norwich Boro Bristol Sunderland. If we start slowly we could sack our manager. We have failed off. These are all traits of play off chasing sides in the Championship of which we are one. If a team breaks away like Ipswich it Sunderland it’s usually an element of fluke or a ton of cash. And Wrexham and Birmingham will almost certainly outspend Plymouth and even on the same spend could likely attract better because of their hype.

Over summer the same work goes in to another system and that problem is solved

He had plenty of Credit in the bank with most fans
Maybe. But I see it differently.I recently gave a theory on what I think has happened and why he’s done it. We had another system and it gave us our best spell of the season.
It should have been used in at least a couple more of our away games recently.
By your own admission Simms has not performed. BTA and Bassette were strange signings. EMC delivered nothing under Robins. The one effective player as a forward was injured when Lampard arrived.
Robins refused to play Kitching and had no back up RWB and a poor signing at LWB. We managed to get Grimes as another failed signing - Palmer - refused to stay.
There is a strong case to make that once Viveash left the cracks became a chasm and he was taking the club backwards
In any case, 80% of the forum thinking we’ll do it on Saturday is good going
We started with less than 0 points? In the playoff season we started with less points with adi here
You would argue simms is worse this season under lampard than he was last season under robins in fairness
In the scenario where you know you’re going to lose I’d rather lose at Bramall Lane than Wembley.
It would be gut wrenching, but yeh i'd like another day at Wembley tbh. Nets the club a few quid too. Why? Wembley is a great occasion.
We started with less than 0 points?
Would save me alot of moneyWhy? Wembley is a great occasion.
Would save me alot of money
If we were to beat Sheff U, you’d have to back us beating Bristol City or Sunderland.
Because the OP being replied to was in the event of losing at some pointWhy? Wembley is a great occasion.
The personnel wasn’t the same.
The reason 5-3-2 worked so well is because the midfield 3 complemented each other perfectly. Torp and Rudoni played so high and wide, they were operating like an LM and RM up the pitch at times. A midfield trio of Grimes-Sheaf-Rudoni fundamentally alters that system.
It also ignores the games where we were lucky to get a result. Away games like Sheff W, Swansea, Blackburn where there were times we were open and could’ve conceded first.
Dont agree.
We should have used it in more games than We have recently.
And to say we were lucky against Swansea and Blackburn is laughable.
I agree, we were very good value for the win against Swansea though admittedly we had signed their talisman the day before.Dont agree.

Yeh we were very comfortable in those games overall. I do recall Dovin making some strong saves in a lot of the games we won that could have changed the direction of a game. Not saying that's lucky, its what you want from your keeper and what recruiting a good keeper gets you but i do wonder if we win all those games with Collins in the net like we have now? In fact i'm pretty sure i know the answerDont agree.

I know, but i'm saying Collins is changing the direction of games at the moment with how bad he is, I think we would have done then too, regardless of formation.I'm not sure where this idea that teams shouldn't conced goals/chances come from though?
Is it Burnley, who are an absolute anomaly
It's normal in all leagues but especially the Championship
Wouldn't want to miss out on our annual trip to Wembley.I would rather go out before Wembley than have a third year in a row of super high tension, high stakes defeat
I know, but i'm saying Collins is changing the direction of games at the moment with how bad he is, I think we would have done then too, regardless of formation.
