At derby it looks like it may not have all Have been the managers fault.

Would be a massive waste when it looks like we’ve got two of the best finishers we’ve had in ages in the squad.

I think he will settle on it for the happy medium... We look like not conceding too many now but not scoring many at all...
Put a number 10 behind the striker and it could create alot more... Whilst maintaining the solid defensive shape...

Feels like we are halfway to finding the balance needed

3 shots on target? Genuinely don't remember them (but I did miss the first few minutes).

Two from Giles and I guess their counting that Shipley one.

Nothing special so far, little threat, and always look likely to make an error. We need impetus such as O'Hare enrgy and dribbling. Kelly masterful but Sheaf needs to step his game up. Max may have more physicality up top.

Look like we can grind out more points with this formation but my god is it boring to watch.

Shipley not offering a lot at right midfield. I wonder if we'll see Jobello at some point...

I mean yes I think we've played relatively well... Kelly has been very good.

Problem is we just don't really look like scoring, the answer would appear to be to either go 2 up and take sheaf off, or put o hare just behind walker in a 4231 and again take sheaf off who I feel has had an average half... The back 4 definitely feels stronger defensively

Walker needs to trap a ball properly

Sheaf is vitally important in this formation. He has to stay on.

We’ve gone from looking like conceding every 5 minutes to some form of turgid stability. 2 clean Sheets in a row would be massive progress

and I still think we will end up playing Godden and Walker which I think will give us a better defence/attack balance.

Good game for O’Hare I reckon. Need to stop playing high balls and play through this defence, there’s goals in them if we attack them.

Can't believe people thought that was alright. We're at home and Cardiff were shite - we didn't create a single proper chance. Settled for getting to half time level again and we were lucky to do that. Condensing games into 45 minutes is so dangerous. Not sure Sheaf moved off the half way line all half, he needs to be getting box to box in this formation. Walker isolated, think of all the midfield we only got Shipley beyond him, twice all half.
Time for a Robins tactical masterclass in nicking a 1-0.

We can’t stay up finishing every game 0-0 all season. We maybe could have done from game 1 but we’ll need some wins from now on. Starting this evening.

Carry on reading this forum and people will slit their wrists. Ffs this season is all about scraping to stay up yet some think we should be challenging for the title.

How many times is Clive going to call Cardiff ‘Sheffield Wednesday’ tonight? You’d think Oggy would have a quiet word in his ear..

Can’t figure out who’s playing in two different positions, Walker or Giles.

I don’t think anyone thought we would get promoted bar the poster who thinks we could give Man City a game

ffs, need to stop being so naive here. They’re looking to win free kicks within 30 yards of goal every time they come forward.
