Due to Boxing Day family stuff I can't take her up The Butts this year.

I've promised to take her up the third round instead. If her luck's in, it might last 120 minutes.

And maybe even a lengthy shootout.

Not much else kills in numbers under 40 these days really is part of it.

Suicide dropped in 2020 which was the last data I can see here:Suicides in England and Wales - Office for National Statistics

As that shows aside from a recent uptick it’s been on a steady downward trend for decades. So while it’s a serious issue, if anything the only link to Corona is lockdowns seem to reduce suicide slightly.

Not hard to work out.

When my Mrs passed i felt suicidal.
When Covid hit and we went into lockdown (out here was far harder than the UK lockdown) .

Thought i would lose my house, my business and had to stay in my house all the time on my own (bored stupid).
Only allowed out to go to the closest shop to buy essentials (if caught buying Cigarettes, beer, crips etc and no essentials then a 100€ odd fine (first time) higher after then jail.
Felt like i was living in isolation (they only do this in jail to the worst prisoners)

This place kept me going (as i have said many a time).

Lot's of people don't have a place like here to help.

I ended up that broke just trying to support myself, imagine if in the same circumstances you are trying to support a partner and kids and for some people their parents as well.

Not hard to see why it gets too much for some people and they end up committing suicide.

Glad you have not gone through this and let's hope you never do, but some people are struggling so much they see it as the only way out.

(not having a go at you by the way, just answering your question).

We have a high bridge out here and during the first wave several people jumped after about 3 months of confinement including a police officer who could not deal with what he was being asked to do.

Since then i think people have got stronger as no more jumpers, people have started to get used to a new way of life (and this is what i think everyone needs to understand and learn, this is now a new way of life as this is not going anywhere soon).

I feel like I’m missing out on something in life here.

This is it. People just don't realise what may be happening in other people's lives.
Personally I will think about this before I call someone a dickhead or something similar on here. (Not that I do anyway)

Haven't even got to the cancelled Cardiff fixture date yet and I'm already getting withdrawal symptoms.

Can't see us playing till the new year at this rate

Drakeford due to lift crowd restrictions on Friday so should be all good for crowds on 15th Feb. Theres a few of us who have booked the day off and will make a day of it. Is there any coaches that leave mega early as we want to get to Cardiff as early as possible. SBA coach leaves at 2 but goes to a town outside rather than into Cardiff. Any recommendations much appreciated.
