Never too bothered about this competition. I hope Lampard plays our squad players. If they are good enough to win the game fantastic, if not then so be it.

Depends on our squad, I don't really want a cup run getting in the way of a promotion/play offs runI would like us to take the FA cup reasonably seriously but I’m really not bothered about the other cup competitions. Promotion has to be our priority.

Don't get me wrong, the FA Cup is a completely different matter and is a competition I always want to see us give our best shot. The League Cup however is just an unneccesary distraction and there is pretty much no real reward until you reach the semi finals. Only last season we had a 'glamour' game against Spurs and had a below average crowd! If we had drawn them in the FA Cup it would have been a guaranteed sell out with everyone scrambling for tickets.
