Captained the City tonight
Is he the second choice behind KK?
One of the senior members. Works hard also, I'd have him ahead of Wood/Macca!

Beautiful ball for the goal! Think that's his 3rd or 4th assist this season! Certainly creates chances!

Should be? Bit rusty in places as a footballer especially in terms of strength, but as I said 2 goals, 4 assists I'm sure he's got a starting place far ahead of Macca and as it stands fleck.
Has a better work rate than most.

But will Baker be a regular member of the team?

I think he will.

Hasn't he played every game under Robins so far?

Robins must see some potential in him to have given him the Captains armband and to have selected him in every game so far.

Other players like KK haven't been so fortunate.

I mean even Macca put in a decent performance tonight from what i heard.

I think the corner has been turned but its going to be a long hard slog up that hill.

So keep the faith people :D

Macca had his best of the season in terms of work rate. But was very poor in places. Greedy with our best chance at 2-0.
Freekicks and corners of his were also below average.
Think we have had it from him sadly.

Sadly have to agree with you there.

I think he'll be one of the ones to go in the January transfer window.

I'm impressed with Robin's loan signings though.

Reckored sounded solid at LB apart from the odd slip up and Moussa ran the wings like a pro.

How was Bailey for anyone who was there?

Reckord was good. Walcott swapped wings as Reckord was in control. Clarke got tore apart by Theo.

Bailey looked good. Liked to pass it out wide and put a few nice balls outwide to fleck towards the end.

I'd like to see a team like this sat.

Murphy
Cyrus-Egde-Wood-Reckord
Jennings-Bailey
Moussa--Baker--Fleck
Mcgold/Cody

I think that is the strongest side we will have put out all season.
Moussa was quality tonight. He could really be our main man this season.

As we seem to like 4411. From what I've seen I'd play:
Murphy
Clarke Cameron Edge Reckord
Baker Henderson Bailey Moussa
Fleck
McGoldrick

We need some strength in defence and I'd like to see Cameron in L1

Bailey and Barton at CM were v good, more so 1st half.

1st goal before HT was nearly killed it off, 2nd goal killed it off completely, but credit to them, they tried until the end.

Brown (decent in 1st half), McSheffrey and Elliott didn't have the best of games imo.

2 games and 2 assists under the new manager, both from cracking balls from the right-flank.

More importantly-that's two games and two gutsy, hard-working performances by Baker. That's a real breakthrough for him. He finally seems focussed, is the stand-out player in terms of who has responded to the new manager, and totally deserves to lead the side at the moment.

Sky billed tonights team formation as a 4-5-1

It's a winger based formation from what i can see and benefits players like Moussa.

I'm assuming Moussa will be on the left with Baker on the Right?

It's 4231, which can be called 451 or even 433 if you consider the two widemen as forwards.

Not quite sure still what we played against Carlisle after Cody came on..it was very lop-sided to the right. Sort of a 433 with Baker very wide at RCM and McGoldrick rather narrow as RCF.

Dare i say it...its like an extra pointy diamond :p

A bit more girth at the back (two defensive midfielders) and really pointy at the front (Attacking Midfielder and Striker).

Meat and two veg ;)

Moussa left, Fleck middle, Baker right.

Jennings might be injured so it might be Henderson instead ( don't knock him
after 1 game )

Moussa to the left of him,
Baker to the right,
Here we are,
Stuck in the middle with Fleck.

Baker usually puts in a good amount of effort, it is just his quality which lets himself down often lashing a shot high an wide or crossing into the stands

i like when he has confidence to dribble butlast night he should have passed more isntead of taking on 2-3 arsenal players lol
