Has anyone out there who uses that Tweety stuff suggested to Mr Brody that he joins this forum? I think it would be good to hear from him on here - even if it was unpleasant news.

I think we talked about this in a previous thread, whether it ever happened I don't know. I tweeted him last week to say that there was a thread about him on here, about how we thought we was doing a good job and stuff. Don't know if anyone ever said to him though.

I personally don't think he'd join. Any important news can be relayed onto the forum by his Twitter followers and Twitter is much easier to use on a phone than the forum is.

I get the impression Brody normally tweets from his phone so yeah, as above, using the forum on a phone would be a lot more complicated for the guy than Twitter, which is working quite nicely as it is for communication between him and us.

He may well have looked around as a guest. Problem is on a forum you tend to get a lot of pointless abuse, he may not think its worth it - i almost kind of agree with him if he didnt.

I would suggest though that forum members are truly passionate fans. Taking a look can do no harm, taking part could.

It is a good idea and it has been suggested.

We have offered a seperate section called "Ask the Board" where people can post sensible questions and he can answer them and it will be there as a reference (rather than searching through tweets).

It would be moderated so that no stupid posts would be there such as "What is your favourite cheese?" or just plain abuse.

Problem is, he would say something, it would be documented forever in the forum then years later as soon as he does something contradictory people would hang him with it. He wouldn't post for that reason. Even though we all appreciate that things can change in life, even your favourite cheese.

Think Ransom used to follow the forums a fair bit. He never posted but would often view them to see what the fans thought.

There really wouldn't be any point anyway to be fair, you wouldn't find out anything you don't know anyway. This 'Openness' thing is complete smoke and mirrors.

Brody has been on the board since November apprantly, why wasn't he 'open' about the transfer embargo? Why hasn't he been 'open' about the completely bizarre deal that led to Conor Thomas being loaned to Liverpool? He was 'open' enough to announce that Marlon King had 'verbally' agreed to sign, have we heard anything about plans to replace King? Not only King but the other two key players it looks as though we've lost? Are we in talks with potential replacements? I could go on and on and on.

People need to understand this openness thing is a complete myth and in reality it is anything but.
