built on land prone to flooding which has, not surprisingly, now flooded.

that corner is going to have to be re-turfed I would have thought, can't see how else they'll fix it. How quickly they can do that will be the next problem.

Ah I see it now, it's a spoil heap from the construction on the rest of the site,get a claim in Wimbledon against the company who built it?

I knew they always wanted to go back to the borough of Merton but didn't realise the new stadium was on plough lane.
It's not on the footprint of the old one surely?
