Calmed down now (1 Viewer)

This season has got the better of me.

I am normally very calm, but at times my head feels as though it was about to explode

I apologise if I have upset any decent posters in here. No apologies for the WUM's though. They have been doing my head in. I love a good debate, but not with someone that does not listen to reason, knowing they are right but have no points to back up what they are saying. Can't see the point in it. Then they resort to name calling. So frustrating

Now for the billionth time. Yes AT has made mistakes. Had enough of people saying I have thought he is perfect and accusing me and others of saying he has not. The most pointless point ever raised :whistle:He is now getting things right. The players are now getting things right. I put it down to experience for both AT and the players. A major part of it I put down to Nimely and Norwwod. I know there are a fair few that put it down to other reasons. Done my debates on the subject. Will leave this one alone now. Most will never agree on this and there will never be any proof, so what is the use

Look forward to new debates, but will leave most of the old ones alone. Taken nearly 8 months of this season now. Can't take any more negativity. I am a positive sort of person myself. Can't understand negativity myself unless you are doomed :D Hopefully we will be able to look at next season in the championship in about 3 games time

I'm sure most people on here are very reasoned in the real world, just not on internet forums or at the Ricoh on a Saturday between the hours of 3pm and 6pm! Frankly I've enjoyed some of the more recent debates - we seem to be getting back to discussing football now we're on a good run and less talk of SISU or Thorn

Fair enough Astute, some reasonable points.....

I cant help thinking though that at times you should just chill out a bit and accept peoples opinions on Thorn and the team differ to yours. Just because they dont feel the need to argue the point with you doesnt mean they are a wum or whatever, it just means they disagree. You will feel better if you just can deal with that.

People differ in view..its a forum..its life..be positive like you say......and rise above it.

Just my humble opinion of course.

The easiest thing to do is agree with me and sit back safe in the knowledge that you are right :)

It was said some time back that the worst effect of all of SISU's tenure has been the in-fighting it's caused amongst what's left of our fans. For me, that's worse than asset-stripping the squad, hiring the Orange One or being as transparent as a block of lead combined-they should not be allowed to succeed in then splintering the fan base.

The idea of a debate is not to argue but to have a chance of looking at matters in a different way. Putting a point across with reasons of your thoughts, not just "this is what I say, and I am right whatever you tw@" At xmas time I was starting to question AT from the debates that were going on. Most I ignored, but some made sense.

It is about time I met some of you. Would be much better to have a face to a name. Hope to be meeting up with one of our furthest away UK fans in August and getting a game in with him.

I still have some old boxing gloves of mine for a few others on here :slap: ;)

agree with norwood not sure about nimley...... only scored once .

Football is not all about scoring goals. Yes we need goals, but we also need goals to be set up. How many teams have tried marking Nimely out of the game, leaving space for others? He has got us more pens than goals scored. He pushes us forward. If it was all about goals then Platt would be shite. Yes, we need a goalscorer, but we also need players that can run at our opponents and beat them.

Would love to have gone to the game, but with family problems can only go last min. No tickets available on day as no tickets available so resigned to not being able to go  Lots of good watering holes and friendly natives so one of my favourite grounds to go to.

Ground very "cosy" and we normally outsing them. Beware of the police though, seem to love arresting people there.

I only have two kids and the problems they generate is incredible...but seven, well I would struggle and its impossible for my hair to be thinner than it already is!
