Lost a bit of respect for him at the Preston game when my lad was mascot he came in a side door and wouldn’t come and meet the youngsters, there were a lot of kids disappointed he was one of the ones they were really excited about nearly as much as Wright.

His performances tailed off after the Norwich game. If the Prem is his next stop j don’t know if he’ll be successful tbh.

its a similar move to gus isnt it, take a easy step into the prem, fingers crossed you stay up, if not, fingers crossed you get a move to another PL team.

Think gus will move on?

I can't see Gus in the championship next season. Fulham, West Ham, Palace or disgustingly even Leicester will surely be looking at him.

Callum has left the building. He will go down more as an exciting player rather than a great p!ayer, often flattered to deceive but got us out of our seats almost every game. Good luck going forward. I don't see him as a Premier league regular but who knows.

We had O'Hare, Callum O'Hare

Fun to watch, spoiled his legacy here with switching off and generally believing his own hype a bit too much. Showed he can be unplayable, then just chose not to be, which grates.

We need someone with a better end product there, comparing him to similar in other teams they all seem to have a bit more than just dribbling to their game, weight of pass, vision, shooting ability.

Lot of fuss for a 10 that has only scored 17 league goals in 5 years.

I’d be very disappointed if our replacement was giving us 3.4 goals per season over his contract.

I don’t give a shit if he has a wig and a boombox.

Good player, seemed to bring good energy to the group and goes with most fans good wishes. No point going at him, i think he deserves a crack at a higher level if he gets the chance.

Its time for all to move on, i have enjoyed watching him. Good luck to him going forward

To be fair, this season, that could be labelled at the whole team couldn't it.

How many times have we only played well for one half of the two?

Not even in the top 3 of our best players and there would be Sheaf, Simms, Wright, MVE, Tats, Thomas, Eccles, Bidders all ahead of him for player of THIS season.

I like CoH and pre injury he was certainly one of our top 3 along with Vik and Hamer but his contribution over the last 2 seasons has been minimal ( the odd match apart ) and we will carry on with our yr on yr progress without him.

I have said this many a time, we just don't know what goes on behind the scenes at the club a lot of the time.

If Saddlebrains is right in saying O'Hare started doing the whole Billy Big Bollocks thing, then it makes sense for that period when Robins kept picking Palmer ahead of O'Hare and maybe all the "Robins doesn't know what he's doing" posts at the time now look misplaced.

And if your “best” player is playing shit because hes off, he’s no longer your best player.

Hope the summer is long enough for you to get over this. I remember Kevin Gallacher leaving when I was about 9, tough times.

I did say IF. It would fit in with why Palmer kept getting in, in front of him.

I am not sure if is true, but it would make sense if so

And you don't always play your best players if their attitude isn't right, because it can be detrimental to the team.

Haha, I used to adore Gallagher as a kid. Was also gutted he left

I weirdly felt a little emotional when we were signing ‘we’ve got ohare’ after the game when he came over to the corner. Whatever’s happened he had a special connection with the fans and was an important part of our rise/progression

I’ve knocked our fans a few times recently (more the gobby minority) but was proud of the reaction yesterday, which was a classy send off for a player who’s obviously chosen to move on against the clubs wishes. Sure it was noted by the other players as well

Fair play to the lad, wish him the best he signed on a free and was our best player for a few seasons. Massive in us staying in the championship. Loved the club and big part of the positive team spirit and atmosphere.

Anyone slagging him off is just sour as fuck and needs to get a grip

Crushing. Club tried to big up the fact we got Roy Wegerle ( who was admittedly good) in exchange, but Gallagher was a legend.

No. After 1990/1991 NY had a new Mayor and he was draconian on crime, he was very right wing and exactly what London needs. Manhattan was ultra safe.
Now it is a crime riddled infested toilet, in fact the US outside of southern states such as Florida seems in a mess at the moment, what the fuck is going on at the universities beggars belief. They need Trump desperately.

Like Trump you could do with a basic fact checker

The mayor from 1990-94 was David Dinkins a Democrat, who took over from another democrat Ed Koch who had been the mayor for 12 years. Neither were remotely right wing.

In 1994 Rudi Guiliani became mayor. Guiliani was a Republican lawyer who had (and obvs still has) a very high profile in the media but the city fared badly during his stint (which of course included 9/11).

The biggest transformation of the city came under the 12 year reign of the next mayor, Michael Bloomberg who was first elected as a Republican but switched to an “independent” six years later. Bloomberg refused to take a mayoral salary and was responsible for a strict zero tolerance policy which cracked down on prostitution and drug-related crime in places like Times Square. The city was absolutely transformed during his reign and the centre and tourist areas became much safer places. Hell’s Kitchen successfully rebranded itself as Midtown for example. Of course many critics point out that his zero tolerance policy may have just displaced social problems into less heavily policed areas and the gentrification of many neighbourhoods with brownstone step buildings in the city may have hollowed out some long standing communities and pushed them further into poverty.

I've got no beef with coh leaving , just can't stand that he's giving nothing back to the club that nursed him through a seasons injury & gave him the platform to thrive....could have signed a deal with a buy out clause..but chose to look after himself and sod the club.
As far as I'm concerned , clear off !! And Callum who

Cost us nothing, and apart for his 12 months out with injury, I reckon it was a great deal for us. With his previous ACL injury, I certainly don't blame him for wanting to safeguard his future and wish him well for the future.
Finally, I trust in our scouting network to find a gem of a replacement .

Well said. Really don't understand bitterness towards him. We have been good for him, he has been good for us. A big signing on fee will secure his financial future if he is sensible and I don't blame him for taking it after recovering from a serious injury. We move on - and I agree with you that our recruitment team is likely to unearth another gem.

PS Admit he does have a bit of smugness about him though
