Going to Sheff utd I think maybe another backward step for a former player. Yes wages may be higher but career wise I think its a bad move. No prem club wanted him on a fre, which says a lot for a 26 year old at the top of his game.

that is properly weird, posting a picture of him in a cov kit?

Is it a backward step for him, though? He's gone to a club just relegated from the Prem and doubled his wages. Given his lack of any other options it's the right move for him

Sheffield Utd were abysmal and there is no suggestion they will be superstars of the championship. Far from it. Like i said money aside it's a backward step for me.

I Worked in Shitfield for a while and must admit they’re a backward breed up there . They struggle to speak properly, missing out words and not making sense. Cal should fit in quite easily .

Financially it's a step forward, professionally remains to be seen.

We've played them about 15 times in the past decade and I don't think I've heard them make a noise once. I doubt we will hear anything.

Ground hog day ….COH was set for life whether he signed our deal or moved to Sheffield United. Let’s stop pretending he wasn’t or that it was the deciding factor.

Why do you persist with this nonsense. He can use more money that he would - get bigger houses, support family, better cars, second houses, greater investment funds. No one sets a ceiling on earnings

Yeah, I know, it's certainly not a step up the football ladder. He's just gone there for the money, nothing else.

Sheffield utd have made some good signings - O'Hare, McCallum and Kieffer Moore.

Don't think it's as bad a move as some are making it out to be.

We don’t know that, either way he isn’t a massive upgrade on Bidwell. I don’t look at them signings and think they are now auto chasers.

McCallum certainly would and I think O'Hare would be in our first 11 too. Moore is great at this level but not sure he would be ahead of Wright ir Simms.

Yeah that’s why I’m not overly enamoured by their signings when we agree he wouldn’t even start for us

I Would like Moore here as I thought he was excellent against us for Ipswich but don't think he is probably worth the thousands he's on a week like Callum isn't.
