Allen did really well in our playoff season and was my motm a few times in crucial games (don’t ask me to name them). Last season was obviously a bit of a ‘write off’ for him and I think it’s going to be tough for him to get back in the side.

MR wanted O'hare to stay, C.O. was on £10k a week and DK offered £11k which was instantly rejected. The offer eventually got increased to £12k a week take it or leave it, but by that time O'hare's agent had received offers from other championship sides of double that offer so the club were informed that CO was leaving. (This all happened before Rudoni was signed)
Apparently AV was fuming that we hadn't made an effort to keep O'hare, and he and DK had a blazing row, DK said that we'd paid O'hare a fortune over the 12 months that he was injured and was reluctant to end up in a Jodie Jones situation.
If that's true then I don’t blame O'Hare for moving on, even to a shit club like Sheff Utd. If we only offered him 12K a week it's not gonna be acceptable when he can get twice that much there. Can't see any need for bitterness towards him for leaving, the club obviously didn't want him enough.
I think he's been brilliant here since he came back from injury and the fans loved him. He's given us some great memories but now he's gone and we've replaced him with younger and better. Good luck Cal and goodbye

It's very Wilder type Championship signings. They have had success with their style but I think its dying out tbh, Wilder is a bit of a dinosaur.Sheffield utd have made some good signings - O'Hare, McCallum and Kieffer Moore.

im just being overly sassy, but when viktor and hamer did they both did videos to the fans, thanking them etc, but he just posted some videos of his highlights, would have assumed he would follow in the same way.You and a few others have talked about the way he left. What he is in danger of is falling into the trap that McCarthy etc fell into, in managing clubs that just aren't good enough to compete in the top flight but he gets them there against the odds, so is being unfairly judged as being unable to manage in the top flight when they meet their inevitable demise - frankly for them to finish as high as they did ther first season up with him was an astonishing achievement.
Consider if we bounced up and down a couple of times, that wouldn't autmatically make Robins unable to handle the higher level.

I suspect we wouldn’t give a 4 year deal or the signing in fee at the rumoured level.

We will miss COH because he adds some unpredictability and trickery to our attacking play, especially around the box.I guess some of the vitriol comes from a place of broken loyalty, I suppose. Perceived, anyway.
The club stood by him during a particularly difficult recovery from an ACL, he came back, played his tits off for 10 games, and fizzled out - personally, I believe this departure could be a blessing in disguise, as not only has it freed up wages, but it allows the likes of Torp and Rudoni to shine.
Palmer, meh, maybe. I just feel he’s one of those that will plateau for another couple of years, development wise, and tail off. Back up, at most.
Torp and Rudoni are significant upgrades on COH and Palmer, IF the former finds his feet at this level. He could be a pivotal player for us, as I’m sure Rudoni will be.
