Robins knew COH was off and came up with contingency plan (formation change and Rudoni)
then the talks for COH stallled and we made the offer to him.
Robins realised we were moving away from him and was reluctant to budge, hence the offer not at top earner and the timeframe to sign.

Vik is the only modern day legend. Never strung us along, was always clear about what he wanted, made smart choices, money brought in moved the club forward and, on top of everything.. looked genuinely gutted to leave. Gus and O'Hare scampered away to the only show in town like a pair of rats.
Hope Vik gets huge cheers if we're lucky enough to see him on our pitch again.

I find the criticism of Palmer especially odd. Surely he’s the sort of player we pay our money to see? Albeit a bit inconsistent.It is fair to say we don't yet know how O'Hare will come back from his injury - Idon't actually think he played that well when he first came back either, just he got some goals which masked his overall contribution. Hardly surprising after so long out mind you. So I don't blame the club for being cautious.
And half this board is already sending Allen (filled in admirably for O'Hare in our playoff season with more goals than we got from the latter! Then was mostly injured / coming back from injury last season so never really match fit) and Palmer (starting to show what he can do) off to pasture, so given that little loyalty it's hardly surprising O'Hare might want to go either, is it.

Think he was a different player when he came back from injury. A little slower and less inclined to tackle.
