Thought O'Hare was pretty good last night (as was McCallum) and you could tell he was really fired up and wanted to get a goal.
Lacking the final ball though which was similar to when he was with us at times

He played pretty well to be honest. He's a very good Championship player.

I agree as long as they don't go the full Adebayor 100 yard dash and knee slide

Still one of the best ever celebrations. You can see a plastic footstool and a sandwich are among the things thrown at him

He was their best player last night but not sure who that says more about, him or the rest of the team.

He covered loads of ground and put in 100%, but as always seemed, lacked in the final 3rd

Allen impacted the game more in 2 minutes than O'Hare did in 90

So Hamer has scored against us for blades and didnt celebrate.
McCallum lastnight scored and held his hands up almost apologetically.
I get the feeling with how hard O'Hare genuinely tries to score against us when he plays, he's the sort of c**t that would celebrate! Thankfully to date we've not had to find out, but he comes across as that kind of person.

I wouldn't blame him. The fans bizarrely boo him despite him being a player who gave his all here, and made his free choice to move when his contract expired. I'd celebrate as well in the circumstances.

We could do with him right now, he would be starting in Rudoni's place every week. Was decent last night.

Probably didn't deserve the vitriol, the circumstances behind his exit were very complex.

Absolutely, you can't boo him for the entire game and then get uptight if he celebrates a goal!

I find it bizarre that he gets booed, yet Kasey Palmer applauded when they both return. O'HAre did far more for us than Palmer, won a league with us and was a key figure in our rise to where we are now. Thought he looked decent last night

Not that I agree with it, but it simply comes down to the fact he left on a free.

If he moved to Sheffield United for £5m, he wouldn't have been booed.

We’ve won 7 and lost 1 in Rudoni’s absence, scoring 24 goals. If he plays, BTA probably doesn’t and think he’s got 8 in those games. So not sure we’ve particularly needed him !

I do think Ohare would offer us something though, especially off the bench, but he’s better than that. He should be playing week in week out but like sheaf, not sure he does that here with the players we have.

Agree about the booing, totally unnecessary as he was a big part of our revival. I’d imagine a lot of it is down to the fact that he was so loved by the supporters so a sideways move was a kick in the bollocks (At least hamer could argue he only left for the prem….as well as the wedge !)

I liked Ohare one of my favourite players of modern times iconic celebrations gave his all for the club .. don’t want to celebrate him when he plays against us , but equally not on board with the booing

More the fact that we stood by him through 2 serious injuries and THEN he left on a free for what many saw as a sideways move. I don't personally share that view but I can appreciate that it does look a bit "ungrateful" if you want to call it that.

I think the option to start with BTA and have Rudoni ready to come on and terrorise tired opposition is what's potentially exciting, especially for the run in to Christmas.

Hes only their top goal scorers this season with 4 from midfield? He also has 2 assists. They've only scored 10 goals in the league this season (excluding Hamers half way goal v blues in the cup) and he's had involvement in 6 of them! But he's got no end product? OK

He didnt help himself by hacking down Saka early doors! Not a nice challenge. ANY player that does that, whether they've played for you or not, is gonna be the receiving end of some boos. Add in to it, it was him, it made it worse.

I don't buy the "stood by" a player who was injured. Any normal employer would be expected to stand by an employee injured solely in the course of their employment.

We look much worse generally when BTA plays in the 10. We were fortunate to get wins vs Blackburn and Watford and our luck ran out vs Wrexham. We'd control games much better with O'Hare in that position.

I don't think that either Cal or Gus fit our profile any more. They would both be expensive, on a big wedge and are both older now. There will be better options which do fit our profile and wage caps etc. Doesn't mean they aren't good players, just not for us.

On booing. Football is like a pantomime. The crowd is expected to sing the usual songs about the goodies and the baddies (ref, opposition crowd etc.). It doesn't mean that many in the crowd really hate him or would be nasty IRL. Only those lacking emotional intelligence hate strangers imo.

Me frantically checking the contract amortisation numbers in the latest accounts as Hamer jogs over to take a corner so I can work out if I clap him or not

Im sure if he’d still been injured out of contract we’d have rushed to resign him on big wages as a loyalty to his good service

Wilder thing they are also very good at making niggly little fouls the sort you can make four of before a booking. Football will be a better place without characters like Wilder.

If his attitude with the fans at the end of his time here was as bad as it was when my son was a mascot then it’s no shock the little rat gets a lot of stick and he deserves it.

In a weird way, it's possibly a bit of a compliment. O'Hare was a huge part of the team and a fan favourite, far more than Palmer.

So there is more bitterness over losing O'Hare when most are not too fussed about the latter.

If we really wanted to make a point of standing by him we would have offered him a contract extension whilst he was out with his injuries.

The difference between him and Hamer was arguably we prospered from the sale of Hamer and the club took payment for him whether he was desperate to leave or not. O'Hare on the other hand dithered indicating he wanted to stay one week then at last minute took off to highest bidder leaving us little time for replacement.
