Premier league players won't spend £10m+ on a 21 year old that's still developing.
Give him another year or 2 and PL teams will spend £30m+ on him.

Premier league clubs want PL ready players now, and will spend the big money.
We arnt in that position.

I think you'll find Man City dont want shot at all.
They've resisted every approach so far, and priced him outside the price range of any championship side.

You clearly dont rate him, that's your opinion, but I have a feeling there will be no shortage of takers should he be made available again for loan or if his valuation is reduced.

I'd probably pay £6m for him with promotion dependent add ons up to the £10m. Defence is an area that cost us last year, so we probably should be focusing a good chunk of budget there.

I'm not convinced he will, I think he lack of pace and I'll hold him back. I can see him playing in the top flight abroad though. It's important to note he played his football for us in a deep defensive unit with 3 at the back and Bidwell next to him. We're now defending with a much higher line.

Technically ability he's is top drawer though.

Norwich conceded 68 in 46 games last season, he played in 40 of those games.

If he happy we signed him but there's surely better players for less than £10m.

If they did they wouldn't care - they'd just accept what was offered regardless. In fact, if they really 'wanted shot' of him they'd just release him.

Both Manchester City and Doyle know he hasn't much chance of getting into their side. But it isn't because he won't become a very good player. They're one if the best teams in the world.

Manchester City need as much income as they can get so they can continue paying astronomical amounts of money on players so they can keep at the top. KKH looks a very good player. Villa sold him for the same reason. It gives funds for more players.
