City turned down a bid of £6.5 million from Hoffenhiem a few weeks ago for Doyle.I imagine the 10m would be made up of lots of Add ons due to his age, probably more like 6-7 mil plus add ons which i don't think is too much
I didn't know we'd ever had a Howler, although thinking back, I've heard a few references to that name over the seasons.All speculation, remember Doyle was here under Robins, lampard may not even rate him, he was also friends with number of younger players, who have now left (howler, Burroughs etc).

Guess you've not watched him since.Doyle blossomed when he joined us, under Robins. He left and went to other clubs but I do not think he grew much more than as the person that left us. Therefore, if dictated by logic he would be best suited for Stoke and work again under Robins. There is absolutely no reason for him to be associated with us under FL, is there?
