Definitely better players our there willing to play for less.

time for him to move on. Even though we didn't get the result we wanted this season and how the season has panned out, I am already excited for next season with a lot of dead wood leaving.

It could be a blessing, new team, Mowbray with a years experience in league 1. Lets wait and see.

If fit he should be kept. Certainly better than the trundler from Newcastle.

That's a massive IF. And why not sack both of them off!!!

How on earth is he one of the highest earners

Last if the championship era. It's why the people on here who want Sambou on £2,000 a week are clowns.

If TM has any thought of giving him a new contract a good chunk of his wage needs to be based on appearances.

Never seen him do any impressive. Amazed he has held on so long. Hope we bollocked the person who gave him a long term contract. I fully expect him to drift into non-league obscurity.

Definitely time to go for Connor, needs a fresh start and we can use the salary on more established and technically better players in the summer.

Its a shame that he has never developed into the player we hoped he would, but it is time he moved on for a fresh start.p
Let's hope Mowbray doesn't go and waste the wages on Bigi.

Another hyped up kid that never made it. I completely forgot we still had him. He would free up some wages.

Worth pointing out his current contract is an irrelevance for any contract going forward.

If he's on high money now, there's no obligation to offer him the same or more in the future.

I rate him over Vincelot personally

He is certainly no worse. He has high energy, a reasonable tackler and he distributes with accuracy buti is limited. There is no question he can play as a spoiling midfielder in this league. The head injury is a question that needs an answer but why replace him with another no hoper. is

The game a couple of years when we turned Peterborough over he was excellent.

Vincelot is a better player, but I am not against offering Connor Thomas a contract.

Mowbray is a joke really in his comments. He signed Bigiamarana for FFS

He is disappointing but I think he was built up to be some superstar box to box midfielder and he isn't that, the major problem for him is like the rest of the midfielders he offers little going forward.

i would give him another year but obviously not on the sort of salary he is getting now.

If we were to resign him, I think I might do an 'Ann Lucus' and boycott until he's gone :D

He's better than the twat from Newcastle so I do not know why

Lets be honest bar 3 or 4 of his 100 games (and God knows I've seen most of them) he's been very poor. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, I can't help but feel those who currently rate him are rating him simply because they haven't seen him play in a while. That, and a combination of the horrific form we are currently enduring has got us clutching at straws if we think Thomas is the answer to our prayers.

I wish him well but it's certainly better for both parties to part company. He has never been good enough at whatever level he has played for us, in my opinion.

That Bradford game where he decided to keep the ball in in a danger area when we were holding on :( straight to their player.

He is, however, a far better player than Bigiaramana and we will end up signing him. He also really isn't any worse then Vincelot.

The negativity is a joke really when people will search for anything to find positives in others. Mowbray thinks Fortune is a good centre forward so what the fuck does he know?
