Again - why would you need bigger crowds? When we had bigger crowds we did it by slashing prices.
But it's not one or two games if you are successful. It's only one or two games a season for us because we've either been crap, or have buggered it up.
Us winning, at the top, bigger crowds for more games.
We go to the Championship and start competing for the top 6 there we will get several big attendances.
Had we gone up this season for instance, you would have big crowds for Wolves, Birmingham, Villa and Newcastle for starters and then very decent crowds for Leeds, Derby and Forest.
We need to switch off from the losing mentality we HAVE had and think about the success we COULD have and the difference that would make.
Just read the article with the council email reply Wonder if any other council has ever tried as hard as ours to force out the football club!

My concern is the capacity I want the potential for 30k

I would say it is irrelevant going back 25 years because clubs then had smaller capacities than they do now in many cases.
My whole argument is that surely we want to be looking for a stadium to cater for us for the next 50 years plus.
We have had very little success at all these past 25 years. We have success, attendances will increase.
We need to look for a new home and one tied in with Cov sounds brilliant in theory, but we need to look past just the now and we need foundations for many, many years to come.

Ermmm... they have a tube station & 2 rail stations nearby... they are in London!How many parking spaces are there at the Emirates or the Etihad for example (I have no idea but not a huge amount I'd suggest). It seems like people are trying to create issues for us that haven't been a problem for anyone else.
So if it doesn't really matter why are all the big clubs expanding their stadiums? (Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal,Man City, Spurs, West Ham etc.)
Surely they should just stay as they are.
Because more people get to go, it will be more than 10K in total because it won't the same extra 10K going everytime we sell out. That's more than 10k people who make a connection with the club, spend money on pies, maybe buy merchandise. That could be 10k plus people that the club could lose forever because they don't have the capacity of accommodate them in their business model.
I suppose they could always go and support a London Rugby Club across town instead. That's bound to cheer you up.

It was in place at the Butts for when they took on the lease .. even Cov Utd are aware.
It is suggested that we look to add a new clause 12 to the Licence which make a variation or agreement/acknowledgement between the parties that the reference within clause 13.1 of the lease to “any other leisure and sporting activities and uses” shall specifically exclude professional association football or training associated therewith.

That's not what is being referred to. It has been proposed to change the lease but an email leaked from CCC states:
Had a bit of a play around in photoshop putting some other stadiums into the space available. If the small park could be purchased and a few design tricks you could get a 30K plus stadium in.
Don't think that's on the cards at all but if things start to move forward on this it might be worth looking into.
I wouldn't bother if I was them, get relegated and it will be half empty.Stoke, Norwich, West Brom all have plans to expand. Swansea's stadium has the ability to expand to 40,000.

Waiting for WASPS to fail could take years and IMO won't happen as CCC cut them a great deal. Being their tenant is clearly not a long term option. Could we not buy 50% of ACL from WASPS ? wouldn't that be cheaper ? as we won't own 100% of the Butts ?
Once WASPS change the seating to yellow and black at the Ricoh it will be very difficult to go there.
Like the idea of the location and parking will be no more of an issue than Highfield Road.
15,000 is too small though especially as you have to give 10% to the away fans and if it is Fleetwood at home the 13,500 home end could be sold out but with only 100 away fans. In the PL in our last 3 seasons including the relegation our crowds were averaging about 21,000
