We need to find a way to ger Murphy and Armstrong in the game. Murphy didnt break into a sweat today and was a passenger. Too many players underperformed but the goals were appalling to concede.

The season as a whole is what matters and we're still 4th.

Atrocious defending for the goals but we probably deserved a point in the end.

Unfortunately though, if that happens throughout the season, we will end up absolutely nowhere near the play-offs.

Vincelot on the pen

"I'm not sure if the Lino had cramp in his arm and just wanted to give something!"

Brilliant!

Winning at home and losing away will not get us promoted. We really need to start banging in the chances or we will lose touch with the leaders. And I think this idea that we are building up to get promoted next season is nonsense. There is no guarantee that our team next season will be anything like the current team.

If tm doesnt want to mention the ref then i will. He was a c**t today got had over by hussey for the free kick and made a shoking decision on the pen along with giving us nothing all game. Sba were quiet today by our standards but didnt have much go sing about until the second half. One last point without the two shocking decisions by the ref bury wouldnt have scored if they had played another 90 minutes. I think they had one shot on target from open play

Well yep, it's a fair point. Very hard to have a 2 year plan if we are dependant on loans and don't know who we will have here next season.

If it's a 2 year plan, we need to very much concentrate on bringing players here to sign for us as much as anything else.

you do know we have lost the same amount of games as the leader, Burton ?

We have scored the joint most amount of goals and only lost 2 of 8

I would have snapped anyone hands off to be where we are at the moment.

Cheer up !

If we went at 1.5 points a game which is win one lose one form for the rest of the season we would finish on 71-72 points which wouldn't be a millions miles off what is needed.

I think you've looked at the old league table. We've now played 9 and lost 3 and aren't joint top scorers

Just have to win next week our home form is good, concerned with Murphy seems to be brilliant at home but hopeless away. Also think Fortune should be our centre forward with Armstrong and/or Ryan Kent alongside.

First half was awful. City seemed unable to pass to someone else in red.
Second half was brighter, but Bury had 10 men behind the ball most of the time.
The ref was useless. Even my 8 year old, who knows nothing about football asked me if the ref was from Bury.

Burge puts in a good shift, we lose. Burge gets singled out for criticism and we win.

I think you could be right especially away from, put an extra man in midfield in Morris and play a midfield 3 of Fleck, Vincelot and Morris. Have Fortune as the focal point and then two of Armstrong, Kent, Murphy, Lameiras playing just off Fortune. Also leaves a lot of pace on the bench to stretch the opposition when they get tired.

Not a great day by the sounds of things although a dodgy penalty sinking us is nothing new. Would be Clarke who gets both though wouldn't it. At least the damage caused to the goal difference isn't too severe.

Last week I said it was one of those days and not a 'disappointment' but sadly today it was just that - a 'disappointment'.
We gave away two silly goals from sloppy defending and TM alluded to this in his interview. The second half we were on top and given time we would have won the game most likely but we need to start quicker away from home and be on the front foot, not react on 50 minutes.

I don't for one minute think it is a slump in any way just a matter of adjustments away from home with the squad. TM changed things with Tudgay and Fortune and may consider this more away from home against decent sides. A little bit of good fortune and we would have had something from the game anyway. learn and put it behind us and it's TM job to lift the players and demand the consistency he wants AKA Fleck and co who were not close to what they have been doing.

It's a long old season and I remain confident we will have what it takes.

Dodgy free kick decision too from what I can gather which was then very poorly defended.

Make me laugh you lot.Debating our goals but not your own, where our keeper was clearly impeded by the big guy up front.Never played our best but still won.3 main players missing too.

Cov Rejects 2 Cov City 1.

Enjoy your night Guys and remember "ITS JUST A GAME".

And to be honest, nothing was said about our goal from either team so thats why no one has mentioned it if there was a foul

Sure as long as you aren't trying to antagonise.

We probably deserved a draw and the referee was poor but thats the way it goes somedays.

We never complained about the sheff utd penalty the other week to make it 1-1 (foul outside box) but,you can bet there would have been complaints had we not won.Like i say, winners never complain.
