Behaviour of some footballers makes me feel ashamed of liking the sport at times. Time wasting by feigning injury (taken out by his own keeper on this occasion then walks off when play is stopped) needs to be, but never will be, I get that, ruled out of the game!

What with that and the near own goal we deserve something from this but seems luck is probably against us

We're having a lot of play at the moment, not bombarding the opposition though with shots. Bury seem to be defending well.

Ricketts just hits the bar

Armstrong gets past Hussey, taken down in the box, ref not interested (no surprise) ball somehow finds Stokes I te left who slices a shot terribly wide

Has the ref had a shocker? From the radio it was a dive for their free kick and not really a pen.

Burge denies Clarke a hat trick as he runs unchallenged at goal

He has moved up top but think it's too little too late. Our first half showing we didn't deserve anything. Second half though we've shown a little more fight, just not enough to get a point atleast.

Clarke goes off this time

... Shame we couldn't have got Clarke back as he's got the experience our front end lacks a little ... Got to beat Shrewsbury now !

Thought we were going to grab a point. I suppose on the bright side at least under TM when we go behind it isn't all over, we do seem to have a bit of fight in us for a change.

At least the other teams up the top with us didn't do too well today. Despite our loss, actually not a bad day for us.

We remain in 4th above Bury and Sheff Utd in goal difference.

Our form last 6 now is

LDWLWL 7 points from our last 6 league games.

Do not despair. We have made quite severe changes to the team/squad & will need another 5-10 games for things to settle - so IMO we're still in a very strong position & will get a better run of results as time moves on.

...onwards & upwards PUSB

As I've previously said, we should be aiming for automatic promotion next season.

Also, based on previous comments on this forum, we need to wait another 6 months for the players to gel.

I'm not panicking, it's what I thought we would do, if anything those 3 wins were the 'blip'. We will get better and more consistent, then Willis and Maddison will comeback, Kent and Armstrong will likely go back and we'll have to start again.

Mowbray's always said it was a 2 year promotion project.

The season as a whole is what matters and we're still 4th.

Atrocious defending for the goals but we probably deserved a point in the end.

Our young attacking line up seem a bit lost away from home, if Fortune has the legs I wouldn't mind seeing him start a game soon.

Agreed it's a long old season. I am not being negative, if anything I want us to take some of the expectation off our young players.

TM doesn't want to talk about the ref. Which probably tells you everything you need to know about his performance. Listening on the radio it did sound like he had a shocker.

Mogga -

General performance

Naivity of first goal rediculous. How on earth they didn't fill the space was beyond me.

Ref had no incline to give pen. Poor decision but changed the game

Couldn't have asked for more especially second half. Lacked finish.

Nature of goals really disappointing

Good signs

Need chances to start going in

Can't ask more after the second half. Take it on the chin.

Don't want to comment too much on the ref (re first goal). Churlish to comment. Not the right time.

Fortune is a good football player. Needs to get up to speed before he starts. Can't question quality and strength and to give a platform for young players.

Came on at time where we were pressing the game

Tried to change dynamics and both (Tudgay and fortune) did well but we ran out of time

No other concerns

Genuinely can't think of any other concern at our goal

Can't criticise Armstrong, will start sticking them in the net again soon

That's a name I almost forgot about but wouldn't mind a cheeky loan bid - Petrasso. Might be a bit more consistent than Murphy.... Not going to happen though, I know
