Don't really think anybody comes out with much credit.

Eccles and DaSilva poor again.

Collins should have saved the first goal.

Sakamoto had a good 5 minutes on the right but was anonymous most of the game.

Binks 4.

Absolute ball loss and his awareness/reading of the game is incredibly poor. Lati isn’t the quickest but he reads the game better.

It won’t happen but we need a new centre back in Jan, maybe two. We won’t win many with the same defence.

On bus back to Manchester.
Nothing from team in first half or Burnley really. You can accept that in someways as set us up to take Burnley on in 2nd half. Missed first goal but why allow that so early in second half.

Ben Sheaf tried to get us going. Gutted to see a special goal through Jack and EMC ruled out and then minutes later conceded.

Just not enough from Coventry City overall.
Really disappointed to lose and Burnley won without doing much.

Set up to hang on but we have a defence that gifts at least two a game.
Fives all round. Binks and Torp 4.

Why don’t we start with two up top and have a go?
Bassette was running around like a headless chicken first half.
I felt for him tbh, sort it for Saturday Frankie boy!!

Sakamoto should have got out to the man quicker, but Sarmiento had complete freedom to start the move and waltz into the area with no Cov player in the same postcode as him

One of Sheaf/Eccles has to be alert to that and track the run

Eccles after playing well Saturday was back to his normal self tonight
Wonder if the new contract included “boot the ball away when another team are attacking outside your own penalty area”
Powder puff as usual.

I think you have to realise no matter how much you criticise him it’s not going to turn N.Dodd or Dylan Parker into professional footballers. Do keep us updated how they’re getting on at your good level though👍

Think they might be at the level that means they can kick a ball away instead of pissing about on the edge of their own area. 👍

Not sure there was a player from either side who deserved more than a 7, it was a dour game.

The defensive positions are wrong and if I was Kitching I would be frustrated if i didn't start next game given the current backline has shipped 8 goals in 4 games.

Have to question the tactics going for a 0-0 draw with possibly the worst defence in the league is unbelievable. Yet again DeSilva doesn’t go with his man. Total liability.
Wasn’t Sakamoto at fault here? He was with the runner and then left him to go to the player with the ball. He pointed to da Silva to pick up the runner, but it was too late. Sakamoto should have stayed with the runner leaving da Silva to face up the player with the ball. That’s how I saw it.

Sheaf was our best player. Van Ewijk ok too. Both maybe 6/7.

Others were 5 at best with Eccles being worse than that.
