Works in my house … toilets never smashed up and the arguments about who used the last bit of toilet paper have completely disappeared. 18 year old daughter and her mates had some initial concerns but all good 😂
Who knew that Chuck Berry was a Cov fan?

I knew that he recorded one of his biggest hits in the city. But I hadn't realised he'd stuck around afterwards.

one to discuss here… but I thought there were new laws around prosecuting for hateful comments about life events. So you can’t do a helicopter sign to Leics and you can’t chant about Munich or hillsborough (and nor should anyone ever) so is it because its not football related or is it because it was war time or 80 plus years ago 🤷🏻 what gives clubs fans the right to say this sort of stuff. I’m trying to think what exactly is the difference. Our city suffered a significant loss of life as did other cities and yet we seem to be repeatedly singled out for using it as an insult. I never lost family in the blitz but if I did I wouldn’t be seeing this as banter!! …. Rant over. Plus it Might be my lack of understanding on law etc

To be honest, I don't want people banned for comments like that.

What I do want is young kids to use their brains and/or educate themselves.

The Luftwaffe comments from people from Birmingham, Leicester and Hull are brain-dead nonsense.

Even though my family are immigrants from Ireland always regarded references intended as an insult to Cov being blitzed as a type of distorted compliment. At the end of the day, the places that mattered got bombed.

This sounds very Churchillian.
‘Never in the vicinity of Small Heath and Yardley have so many bladdered Coventrians shown restraint in not only pissing straight but avoided the temptation to trash so many shoddily manufactured shitters’.
I think I deserved that. I was about 10 pints up at the time.

fvck em.. smash their fvcking bogs to shit!

Their fans were a disgrace as usual. Got a real nasty element to their fan base. Also the quietest visiting fans for a long while.

Reading their social media it also surprised me how seemingly unbothered by the fixture they were. It's like they were playing Reading or Watford, no focus on it being a local derby. Weren't up for it at all to the level we were.

I expect they'll probably stay in the hotel with the golf course next to it on the A45 next year or conversely that one by Rye hill Island just up the road or simply stay in their realm.

Had a shit fanbase before Brady and his compatriots bought the team, and now are just a bunch of whiny bandwagon shit buckets with an entitled sense that they deserve to be in the Prem.

Wouldn't piss on a Brum fan if they were on fire.Would make my fat ass a s'more instead.

I’d be up for just not giving them an allocation next season and if it means we don’t get a trip to that asbestos ridden shit tip in return then so be it
