Physicality something to behold. Really is legalized violence :)
How serious injury isn't routine is amazing.
Doesn't seem this is a series that is going to see much back play.

Just don't get it.

"Lions" get the pick of some of the worlds strongest nations players, playing just a regular country on their own. Nothing riding on it.
Basically a glorified friendly...Don't get the hype.

Its a team thrown together every four years in a short period of time, playing the best nations in the world in their own back yards. I don’t think the other nations or the Lions consider them friendlies !

Great second half today

Should allow Australia, New Zealand and South Africa to team up in the same way. Even throw Argentina in and give us France/Italy to make it Northern v Southern hemisphere to be fair and meaningful.

The Ryder Cup, Solhiem Cup, Davis Cup, Laver Cup and Olympics clearly need scrapping too. It’s not fair for multiple countries to gang up on another.

Home advantage for the Southern Hemisphere side against a side chucked together from 4 rival nations, evenly poised I would say

Also legalised grabbing people by the balls

Goes to show how much you know about rugby. If it’s not your cup of tea, fair enough.

Australia, New Zealand and South Africa get to play this tour once every 12 years - it’s a special honour for both teams involved.

They play current World Cup winners. It's a great concept and a good chance for us to unite and support Great Britain.

Would fancy the Lions chances better against a combination of those three than a single nation. Styles of play are so different they'd struggle to gel.
The concept is basically whether a side that plays together a lot (in the same style ) can beat a side that has basically played together for a month coming from different styles of play.

Is it confirmed or just paper talk that SA are likely to be allowed into the six nations?
It’s looking very likely. The Championship is all but dead and some of the club sides are entering the European competitions too.

Money talks but probably going to be a fight with Premier Rugby about releasing players for yet another international particularly as they are expanding to 14 clubs (so another 2 fixtures per season for them).

Today’s test is a rather tasty affair. Can certainly see a red card coming.

Cant believe the pressure that's been put on the ref by Erasmus....a forty minute half taking nearly an hour.

De Klerk should have had a yellow, and Kolbe should have been a red. Hope we stuff the bastards!

Thought the refereeing on the whole has been pretty good, but can see the argument for both of those incidents. Lions just struggled to get on the ball this half. SA are very Neil Warnock.

Really fucking annoyed after that. Threw it away playing like a bunch of melts in the second half.

Finn Russell is just class though.
