You talk about a 'weak link' but a football team is not like a chain. It's a poor analogy.
A football team is more like a spiders web where if one link breaks the others can still hold it together.
The only player that could possibly be a 'weak link' is the goalkeeper, and thankfully we finally got rid of that weak link.

I like that way of thinking but as proved with the goal we conceded today an “individual mistake” can be the difference between a point and three. No one bailed him out...

maybe it’s the centre half in me being overly critical when I should be enjoying the ride.

That 17th place finish looks unlikely now if I do say so

Not sure if the above has been posted. Our best season and we are not even playing in the City.

You can see they’re on a downwards trajectory. Their form atm is reminiscent of ours in 2015/16, the bookies pick up these trends.

We need to unite behind this team.

If you look at the systems in place for the team and the club they are top notch.

Manager/Coach/system of play and recruitment team all gelling.

Never been sensible to buy in January and our targets will all be coming to add to our bloody brilliant squad in the summer.

Let’s forget all the Ricoh/Coventry shit and for the remainder of the season give Robins and the boys all the support we can give.

Let’s encourage everyone to go to St. Andrews, It could make a massive difference in this promotion race.

Really fucking proud City fan tonight-like Robins said today’s win makes the point on Tues all the more pleasing.

When you say about the systems of the club gelling, what was really telling for me was that when we were down in L2 and played L1 opposition in MK Dons, they were better than us by some way, and whilst we won it felt that we were hanging on. Fast forward 2 years and we’ve again played a team from a higher league, and really held our own if not being better than them.

To be honest though, for more accuracy I could timestamp the games in, instead of following the logical progression of games played for a measuring point for the ratings.

This though would be a hell of a lot more work.

I know, I can just see numerous ways for it to derail us. A monumental thrashing which derails us completely, or a big battle to stay in contention and we are knackered & then we lose anyway. I just don’t see any upside at all. Promotion is worth more than £300k and we’ve got a better chance.
We have had a monumental thrashing of sorts already, when we lost at Rotherham, but we bounced back pretty well from that.

Best equalising rate in the division - gone behind 11 times and equalised on 8 of those occasions (73%). Only Portsmouth have spent less time than us in a losing position - we have trailed for 341 minutes total this season, not even 4 games total.

Thankfully today's mistake didn't result in 1/0 points instead of 3.

What hasn't been said on here today is that McFadzean has helped to develop and bring out the best in Rose and Hyam. The three of them as a unit work really well together, hence 1 goal conceded in the last 4 games.

I've been a City supporter since 1963. I've seen many managers come and many managers go, but for me Jimmy Hill will always be my favourite. Having said that, Mark Robins is coming up fast and will no doubt take over as the "historical" fans favourite manager ever - including me! He has done a tremendous job with limited resources. We've had to play home games at Sixfields and now Stan's. It hasn't stopped him doing the job. I was one of those who, when he returned to us after that seemingly sneaky move to Uddersfield a few seasons ago, said "I bet he'll be gone again in six months!" Well, I eat my words! The man is a genius! Even if the worst happens and we somehow miss promotion (which I now doubt!), I believe he would still stay with us and try again.
Carry on Mark! PUSB!

I’ll give you one anyway. I enjoy the banter but think of you as a “fan” rather than a supporter.
A fan follows or goes to every game and is elated when we win and down when we lose.
A “supporter does the above as well as support the team and players.

Don't want to get in to this again but it is madness!
Let's just be happy that we've got a man who seems to be a great fit for our club and who is giving us some of the most enjoyable seasons I can remeber.
He also seems to have persuaded the owners to implement a successful recruitment model that can work with in the financial constraints the club operates in.
I don't think he is our most successful manager, but he's certainly the one I've been most scared of losing.

It is. But I'm hoping he can emulate the Hill era.
I'd be delighted if he gets us promoted even if it's followed by relegation though that will cause a meltdown because not everyone thinks as logically and as considered as me
