Just think he'd probably say he's fine to the other players, would have to see how it feels the next day and speak to the physio etc to really know.

Totally feasible, just the board in general seems to flip flop between interviews are gospel or bullshit depending on what suits!

BTA told Rob Gurney he was fine then was out for two months!

I was there. A weird last 20 minutes of "After you Claude". We were anxious because we had been 2-0 up. I remember many steady looping crosses from Mick Coop, caught by their goalie, who booted it up field - and then repeat.
When I first posted the link, you could read it. Brilliant article. I always thought it was 20 minutes, but the article, says 5. You can probably read the full article, if you type into Google.

Only because he was clutching his shoulder in the first half and then came off holding his glute just after halftime.

not Sure Grines would say “yeah he’s ficked” if asked post gsme. He said he thought he was ok ‘hopefully’ from what I read.
Nope, they said he said he was fine

No way have they given up. 7 points off with 11 games to go.

Probably not but lets be honest it would take a miracle for them to get into the play-offs given the form of Wrexham and Southampton compared to their own.

Not made any easier by the fact that they only have one recognised CB available and likely will do for the remainder of the season.

I doubt Blues or Sheff U have given up on the play offs and Bristol are above both!

Selling Mehmeti in January has really popped their balloon on top of the injury problems.

Ideas above their station really.

He built them a great training ground and upgraded Ashton Gate to a modern stadium and now they think they're owed PL football and huge transfer fees.
My Bristol City mates think he’s more interested in the Rugby team and happy the football team are just mid table championship even though he’s a billionaire.

He's put in so much money to that club, they lose a ton every year.

They want the world and should be happy to have such astable owner.

He's actually an investor in a friend's company and he says he's a bit of an odd guy.

Not that far off £200m over the past decade alone including this year's accounts. Suspect total losses are probably in excess of around £250m since he bought the club.

There's been a clear shift in their strategy this season. Huge amount of outgoings and the few fees paid for incomings would've been relatively nominal in comparison to what was spent even the summer before last.

A few years ago Landsdown did say he was open to a sale so I suspect he's just lost his appetite to shoulder such excessive losses year on year.

I think the highest league position under his ownership has been 4th in the Champ and that was in the 07/08 season. Surprised he's lasted this long tbh.
