Just think he'd probably say he's fine to the other players, would have to see how it feels the next day and speak to the physio etc to really know.

Ideas above their station really.

He built them a great training ground and upgraded Ashton Gate to a modern stadium and now they think they're owed PL football and huge transfer fees.

Totally feasible, just the board in general seems to flip flop between interviews are gospel or bullshit depending on what suits!

I was there. A weird last 20 minutes of "After you Claude". We were anxious because we had been 2-0 up. I remember many steady looping crosses from Mick Coop, caught by their goalie, who booted it up field - and then repeat.

When I first posted the link, you could read it. Brilliant article. I always thought it was 20 minutes, but the article, says 5. You can probably read the full article, if you type into Google.

Probably not but lets be honest it would take a miracle for them to get into the play-offs given the form of Wrexham and Southampton compared to their own.

Not made any easier by the fact that they only have one recognised CB available and likely will do for the remainder of the season.

Selling Mehmeti in January has really popped their balloon on top of the injury problems.

Who are you flying with? Some airlines have Starlink now, or decent wifi in general. I watched one of our recent games from a plane.

Not helped by selling Vyner to Wrexham due to him also having 6 months left on his deal. Although I presume Eile was his replacement and they gambled on McNally returning in Feb.

My Bristol City mates think he’s more interested in the Rugby team and happy the football team are just mid table championship even though he’s a billionaire.

He's put in so much money to that club, they lose a ton every year.

They want the world and should be happy to have such astable owner.

He's actually an investor in a friend's company and he says he's a bit of an odd guy.

Not that far off £200m over the past decade alone including this year's accounts. Suspect total losses are probably in excess of around £250m since he bought the club.

There's been a clear shift in their strategy this season. Huge amount of outgoings and the few fees paid for incomings would've been relatively nominal in comparison to what was spent even the summer before last.

A few years ago Landsdown did say he was open to a sale so I suspect he's just lost his appetite to shoulder such excessive losses year on year.

I think the highest league position under his ownership has been 4th in the Champ and that was in the 07/08 season. Surprised he's lasted this long tbh.

I was rooting for The Vale, partly as I don't want a blank Sat & extra later fixture congestion. BUT as regards to "they'll be demoralised", I can remember watching Cardiff knocking Wrexham out of the League Cup and thinking "good, that will have them downhearted and knackered for our game Friday night". I don't need to say how that worked out.

There's a slight difference between Wrexham and Bristol City. Wrexham have the players. Bristol City don't.

I know the pitch was a leveler, but 120 minutes against the side cut adrift in League One and only 2 shots on target when the prize was the next round of the cup against a Prem side? Mod table and nothing to play for.

No game is a given, but it's a good time to play them. Onyeka has made the difference we needed and we've started winning away from home. Our tails are back up and Rudoni seems to be finally over his shoulder problem and is like having a new very good signing. Wright has his confidence back and is scoring for fun again. In the last 4 games it's 5 goals for Wright and 3 goals for Rudoni.

They made the playoffs last season and can still do it this season. I'd hardly call them right offs. Having a dip at present and we know all about that. Let's hope we're not on the end of a bounce back by them

I'd be very much inclined to disagree.

Both Southampton and Wrexham are in excellent form and Bristol's results have been nothing short of inconsistent for a while now. The last time they put together any kind of half-decent run together was at the beginning of the season. So I wouldn't really called it a dip - if anything it's a downward trajectory as their form for the first 18 games was better than their past 17.

Between now and May they'll likely also have to contend with only having one recognised CB (and no Mehmeti) so as mentioned, it would take a small miracle for them to clinch a PO spot IMO.

i guess we aren't likely to turn up to Bristol with 3 of our first choice back 4 unable to play plus torp and rudi also being out
