I don't think anyone that played 90 minutes tonight will start on Friday night, but Kitching, BTA, Dasilva and Lati (at CB) did their chances no harm tonight and will give the manager some thinking.

Ben Wilson man of the match

WHAT ???

IMPOSSIBLE !!!!

According to this forum, he deserves no praise for good games.

As there's always an excuse for him doing well. Defenders making his job easy or the opponents having no shots.

What went wrong with the forum logic for him to get Man of the Match ?

That’s not to mention if he loses the ball he dives embarrassingly, immediately putting the defence under pressure
Just do the simple things correctly, he would be so much of a better team player

again- he created the goal. Not sure what the hate for him is for, it’s not as if he was out on his own as diabolical whereas the rest were brilliant, none of them were exactly amazing were they.

Yes you will generally find that if you exclude the good things a player does then they are indeed shit.

This works with all players, try it.

Still not brilliant but a win’s a win. Thought Kitching did well. Looked sharper. Right place right time (mostly) and when there was something on, some good forward passes.

I'd like to see us play 2 up front and Rudoni being a central midfield focal point. At the minute Simms is just too isolated.
What's the latest on Sheaf's return?

Good result against another championship team.

Big thing for me? - unlike last season, our first team should have zero issues with tiredness on Saturday.

The changes worked well, whereas they sucked the life out of us on Saturday. Funny old game

Palmer was poor but still got the assist. If we had loads of players to do what he does fair enough but we don't so not sure why everyone so desperate to get rid

Someone called him useless earlier on thread. That's clearly not the case when he popped up with the assist.

I’m surprised nobody has mentioned Wright - looked very dangerous tonight and took his player on countless times getting past him most too…

I think he’ll start on Friday

Much better second half, great finish by Simms and a decent ball from Palmer. Looked much better after the changes, still looking really vulnerable at the back though, Wilson MOTM.

We clearly have fans who have never played football at a half decent level, their comments come under the fu **ing embarrassing category.
Still let them light up the thread with their knowledgeable insightful comments, it’s entertaining

That assist shows what he's capable of, yes he can be frustrating at times, but we need someone who can unlock defences.
