Odd to think that chucking games away is useful to be honest. Getting to round 2 or 3 has its uses before the fixtures become an inconvenience

Kind of a weird one this. If we'd won yesterday I'd be heading down hoping for a decent performance but ultimately losing. Now I don't want to start with 2 defeats, so hope we smash them and go out in round 2.

The idea that players like Dovin, EMC, Torp, BTA and Wright wouldn’t benefit from playing some part is ridiculous ….

Why the hell would you play Wilson ? Dovin needs as much game time in English football as possible right now …. He was hardly rushed off his feet on Saturday ….

Play the weakest team , get knocked out and concentrate on the league. The sooner we are out of these cups the better . Less chance of any injuries.

To be fair I'm not too fussed about the result, I just want a performance.
That performance against Stoke was as flaccid as we were towards the end of last season, cup aside.
Another showing like that on Tuesday and I'll be slightly worried.

I want us to win whenever we are playing. Back to back defeats is no way to start a season. Hopefully will get one or two strikers up and running. I think BTA may start.
