I asked the Edj last night after reading this thread to Retweet but he hasnt done it which is a real shame. Not sure why the players wouldnt do it as its for there benefit we create the best atmosphere possible.

I've facebooked everyone on my account so hopefully the word will get round.

If the Telegraph could wack it on the back page that would be just the ticket.

Lets do the Pozman if we score, lol. That would look amazing the whole ground doing that, that would send a shiver down the players spines PUSB

Just retweeted Edj's retweet. Great idea and someone should email Dan Walker at the ticket office

Thats great stuff. Given the Edj has a monster following, this will spread big time.

I can see this coming off. Gonna have to dig around in the loft now for 6 scarves. Got the whole family going for this bad boy

I've copied Dan Walkers email back to me on an earlier page. They will be promoting the idea.

Wear sky blue, mmm, not sure how many folks have a coat that colour. Are you suggesting we are out on a February evening without a coat?

Think I can manage the scarf as I have about 20 + about 10 hats.
Maybe I can pin the scarves over my coat

I'd imagine the reason the club is so keen to encourage everyone to wear sky blue, along with supporting this silly scarf idea is because it means more people will shell out money for a £10 scarf or a £40 t-shirt.

Amazing seeing as you can pick up a scarf for 5.99 and a t-shirt for 15-20 quid.

I didn't take into account prices dropping halfway through the season, my bad. Eitherway the point still stands; of course the club are going to support something which gives them a chance to take money from it's fans.

And we're no different to any other business in that respect, think about when there's a fuel shortage/strike action and the amount of garages who suddenly whack there prices up; that's taking advantage.

People wil buy if the price is right and I suspect that the shop will do a roaring trade next Tuesday.

Doesn't bother me mate; I just fail to understand the negative vibes. As a ST holder I can't wait to see the stadium pretty much full of Cov fans for once; It'll make a change from the league games!

Nah, me neither. Normal people can see a harmonious crowd is a good idea and will generate a good atmosphere. But someone loves the attention!!

My idea was for everybody who owns one already to being one. My assumption was that if you're anything like me and of a certain age you'll have loads of them. I certainly wasn't advocating shelling out for new ones!

Which holds no water considering they are offering anyone with a JPT ticket a discounted junior home shirt for £10 or adult £15 and thats harldy racketeering

Just seems a bit pointless, if we did this every game then fair enough or if it was an important game I could understand it more. But just can't understand everyone wetting themselves over the JPT.

I think you may be missing the point a little, I think that a lot of people are getting excited not because it's the JPT but because for once we're going to have a ground full of Cov fans and they want to be part of it.

If you are going I take it that you won't bother joining in then?

I'm not going, said at the start of the season I wouldn't waste any money on JPT games and I'm not going to change just because we've had a bit of erm.. "success" in it.

Fair play to you for sticking to that stance, I know many people wouldn't.
