I can’t quite believe this...it just doesn’t happen to us. A player that has given great entertainment and shown tremendous promise whilst on loan from the premiership making a decision to stay at a L1 side.
If true I think we might get an announcement just before kick off tomorrow. If true it promises to be an exciting season next year and someone of his talents might help bring in/keep others looking for some success. It speaks well also of robins’ ability to develop and encourage young players and build a positive relationship with them.
I haven’t been as excited about a rumour (hopefully more than that) for years.

If this is true it's the best news since the last lot of best news we had, hell it's a bigger signing than Joe Cole.

To be fair it all went wrong after Cole signed, so on reflection yes a Battenberg would have been a better signing

When we played in that tournament thing last year at Nuneaton with rangers in. The guy on the gate letting cars in had nacho novo on his guest list.

Don't know if he was there or if somebody was having him on

From what I have seen of Bright he will have plenty of suitors in the Championship if there is no future for him at Wolves.
If we sign him then that would be an extremely good bit of business indeed.

Go into next season with a commanding GK, Bright and playing at the Ricoh and I’ll book my Wembley train tickets now.

It’s a shame Sterling will want Championship next year.

Why? Are we getting to the FA Cup final? Surely if you are that confident autos are on the cards.

Looking forward to it though!!!

I’m a City fan. My most confident is top 2 until we fuck it up last game of the season.

If he does sign, he'll probably get an ACL first game of the season knowing our luck.

Apparently he was telling fans at the ground on his way in that he's staying.

Don't get why nobody asked if it was a loan or what

Really hope he joins us, but to be honest I think we have little chance. Someone in The Championship will offer him/Wolves several times what we can, and the fact that he has loved it here will count for very little. Happy to be completely wrong (obviously!)

Looks surprisingly good for us and it’d be a massive coup!

Bright seems to have his head screwed on, he was saying wherever he ends up, he needs to be playing. If he stays and destroys League 1 next season, he either helps us into the Championship or he earns a move to their or Premiership.

It would say a lot about how sensible he is if he decides to stay with us!

And a lot about MR. The lad only moved here at 15, had a taster at Wolves where he only actually scored 1 league goal in 3 seasons and could barely get a game in Scotland. Here he's had a team built around him and thrived. No wonder he's enjoyed it!

His agent is probably talking to a lot of clubs, and he’s entitled to do so.

Bright is 21, I really hope he sees us as the best place for his development!

No he’s not entitled to as wolves have first refusal - the extension is in their favour

When it comes to signing him on a contract, yes. But, doesn’t mean his agent can’t talk to various clubs.
