The guy is absolute class. Bright, Hiwula, Baka and Thomas just click and we cause carnage on the counter. Just thinking of all those chances we've had this season and if we were more clinical in front of goal we would be easily in the play-offs if not automatics. If we can get the stadium issue sorted once and for all. I could see next season being our year, unless results go our way today and we win tomorrow of course ;-)

If this is true then there should be more good news we must be staying at the Ricoh - I wouldn't imagine for one moment someone of his quality and development would want to play at another ground/share and have a turbulent year, lower budget, struggling team, not many fans etc - also the Wolves management would not let that happen

I don't get why wolves would extend his contract to loan him out for the season?

Yeah, that wouldn’t make sense. Unless it would be with the option to buy in January. But still doesn’t really make sense for them.

And then offer him another contract? Yeah, it doesn’t make much sense.
My feeling is IF he is coming it’ll be a permanent move.

Seems too good to be true but I hope its true. He's a different class and way good for league 1. We could make millions from him if he continues to develop like he has. It will be an exciting team to watch next season with him, Jones, Bayliss etc. Will try and limit my excitement until its official though!

The only thing I thought is that they might be trying to have their cake and eat it. Put him in the shop window with us with an option to terminate the loan in January and sell him for a bigger fee than we could pay now.

Agree it doesn’t make sense though and looks like somehow we’ve managed to get him permanently if true.

Offer him a 4 year contract without a doubt

Ricoh will be 1000% done now as there is no way he’d be signing if we played at some shithole like Northampton

Bit random, you would think the club wouldn't want him commentating on it and doing things like that

League One clubs simply don’t sign magnificent players like Bright on a permanent basis. I’d be astonished.

Playing regular mate counts for a lot not having to move far from wolves home life etc plus I think mark robins will be the major factor here

Also tied down with say a 4 year contract Sisu will know if we signed him 1-2 years down the line they would make good profit if he was sold on to a premiership say club

Wolves are operating differently now with loads of money slushing about makes it a bit unlucky for young protégés like Bright. There’s bound to be others. Perhaps he had a couple of decent mates there.

The only thing that counts is money - I would guess wolves have an option to extend and have taken the option

Option to extend by a further year tho & then loan back to us ? Doesn’t make sense mate I don’t feel but who knows we could be wrong unless he’s had it extended by 2 years with a year loan to us next season

IF this (Permanent/Loan) deal was to happen I think it would show a massive sign of intent and would also add a few more bums to seats providing the Ricoh is our home for next season. He has certainly made me want to make the 600 mile round trip next season a few times.

We will be. It's just that he is saying stuff on social media whereas players don't usually do that

With regards to the Instagram story of his shirts, one possible explanation could be that he is maybe signing a few shirts for charity raffles?

I refuse to believe it until it's officially confirmed. I'm still bitterly upset about Nacho Novo.
