He went to Wigan, one would assume, because Wolves gave him a year's contract, so if he does well he will be 'nearly' up to Premiership level and therefore maybe be able to play that level. He was only offered a contract a few days ago and if he had not been offered one possibly have come to us. Wigan wanted 'only' to loan him whereas we wanted to buy him.
Let's see where he is come Christmas. If he isn't doing so well Wigan could send him back and then he can join us in January with a view to a permanent deal.

See Stockdale get involved in the melee when Bham lost to Portsmouth in the week? Dangerously close to head butting his own player at one point.

Typical, way too early to judge. But if the whispers of him being a bit of an odd character it could be a case of him just fitting in here.

Took them 1 hour with the U23s to realise he wasn't worth it:

“Bright was only here for two days,” Ferguson said. “He came down, we had a look and he played 60 minutes of an Under 23 game, but we decided not to take it any further.

Rumour is he's about to sign for Robbie Fowler's team in India... They must be desperate.

Perhaps now we can all agree he's never going to be the answer?

The people who say is was the answer despite not being good enough for Wigan etc are the same people that call for Eric Black to be the new manager everytime there is a CCFC sacking!

He is in his late 30s now mind, made a solid career at Championship level so relative to where we've been would have been a good signing,

Shame to see talent go to waste but not the first time we've had a player who looked like they could be something special blow their career.

The comments some of the players made after he had left about his attitude to training, team meetings etc set off alarm bells.

Would (past tense) have been a good signing relative to where we've been (i.e. League 1). Yes, he's too old.
