I could see why you might take a gamble... if he was very cheap, and if we were still in League One. What surprises me most is Robins doesn't seem the type to forgive and forget, and Bright did seem to mess us around somewhat wrt signing permanently at the end of his loan, so I'm not quite sure why he went back.

Robins certainly doesn't forgive easily
Whatever has gone on will have to be dealt with in a professional manner and kept confidential by the club
I don't know what will happen, there are always consequences but there won't be a running commentary
Hopefully Bright will sort himself out and there will be a happy ending
It's up to him

I can think of a few posters on here who would be more than willing to help with that!

He will be as good as Messi by Christmas.

People clearly didn't see him do very little against Northampton either.

I think MR has had a look and seen enough and unfortunately bright moving on and his contract being terminated

If he’s been up to half of the things rumoured on here then he could be sacked for gross misconduct/breach of contract so there’d be no payoff or anything for him, so it will only have cost a couple of months wages.

But let’s see. All just speculation at the moment.

In all seriousness the real shame here (assuming it’s true) is I assume we could have got a loan in to challenge O’Hare or offer options for the box and now we’ll have to wait until January.

The guys a clown if this is true... Which unfortunately I suspect it is. I wonder whether the club might be tempted to look at a short term deal for Dan Crowley. Still without a club I believe.

For a good reason. Rejected by Doncaster, Cheltenham & Gillingham... No thanks.

Is that hopeful then? Presumably with the transfer window closing MR would’ve chosen to get rid after that?

Skybluebeliever is often on the money
As I say I knew there was a meeting but hadn't heard the outcome
Mark Robins is now away on a short break so I guess he wanted to sort it one way or another before he headed off

Can't be done, window is closed. Would need to be a free agent if anything.
Probably just more chances for Jones/Allen/Shipley which may explain the latter sticking around.
