Was at the game yesterday sat near me. He is currently the chief scout at Arsenal and was taking notes throughout the game. Neither us or Crewe have any players on loan from them...just thought I'd let you all know

Club like Arsenal will cover many games and all players including Adam Armstrong are getable, my betting it would be him he was running the rule over.

I think the point here is you recognised someone. There were possibly 90 scouts from different clubs but you didn't recognise any of them. Also, CCFC scouts go to games all over the country does it mean anything?
