Reason he left Blackbppol was because of the "terms" they offered him to sign a new contract

It was rumoured to be £15k, a YEAR !

Not the 1st time they have done this either, they also offered Robbie Fowler 15k a year to join mid season..

Perhaps we CAN compete , I'm sure Fleck will be on £16k a year minimum

Sorry but I'm all for this dumping down on players wages - we should be talking yearly anyway not the eye watering amounts we all here about in the leagues - obviously premiership wages are obscene - championship wages are far too high as well - do they deliver value for money most of them - do they F*&k - here we are in league 1 and still talking upwards of 5 grand a week for some of them - about time it got sorted out - remember if it wasn't for the wages in the game our club wouldn't be as screwed as it is now
