He's in his last year, isn't he? If so, then a full year's loan is the equivalent of releasing him on a free. You could also argue that even if he isn't in his last year, we're not going to get a fee for him, so send him somewhere where he plays, and his value may increase from nothing to something.If they're paying his wages, it means we can get a loan in this season, if thats anything. Perm would be better though.
