It's awkward as the ground area is now 100% asian = no pubs. The nearest good ones will be full, some with security, go to the Lloyds bar outside City Hall, loads of room for you, you can't get lost and only a 20 min stroll to the ground via v.busy (safe) routes.
What's with all this 'is it safe' nonsense? Its Bradford, not Kabul.
I think he means from a health point of view ie if you go into the Bradford Arms take disenfectant with you

Didn't the Bradford Arms get burned down in the 2001 riots (along with other white owned businesses)?
Sorry Saltaire I think I meant the one at the lights (which used to be a roundabout). Is it the old tram station?
Cheers Steve, we'll be heading towards town for breakfast and a pint or twoJust avoid the The Bradford Arms, they give it as an away pub but it's probably one of the most run down places I have ever been to. Some good pubs towards the town or on outskirts, generally the Bradford people are decent folk.
