I genuinely think the Collins thing has became a form of cognitive distortion. The catastrophizing has reached levels unseen against any player for a long time. He's cocked up a few times yes, but we have fans now who are just waiting for the smallest reason to pounce. Even goals which, if dovin had conceded, wouldn't even be mentioned. It's interesting to read.

I don't often jump on players backs at all but he singlehandedly has cost us a good number of points this season. It isn't a game blip like MVE last game. His decision making is poor as is his shot stopping which makes him a terrible keeper at this level.

Can kinda see what you mean, apart from Burnley’s 2nd goal he hasn’t dropped clangers but he just doesn’t save anything that’s at him, just looks so awkward, and you can tell by his reaction to the goals, even he knows he should of done better, if I’m Luton I’m watering the shit out of the pitch and shooting from anywhere,

Anything on target seems to make its way past him and into the net it's more of a surprise now when he saves a shot rather letting one in. I don't think people are being harsh it's hard to defend him apart from his distribution with his feet has been good to be fair to him but I don't have any confidence in his shot stopping. I'd be more confident of he's magic you know in goals but that's Frank's decision he sees them both in training all week he's best placed to make the call

If you ignore the video montages, the stats and the evidence of your own eyes you might have a point.

I think you need to go back and watch last weekends highlights mate.
For a keeper to get beaten once at his near post is a bad error, but to concede twice at the near post in 3 minutes is unforgivable.

He cost us a point at least. And the third goal wasn't good either.
He wasn't the only player to have a nightmare last week, but it's becoming too regular.

He will cost us a playoff place unless we make a change.
If Wilson isn't fit then we have to accept that we arnt making the playoffs.

Unfortunately we deserve all we get and with him between the sticks everything they hit on target will go in. Every cross will be watched and his superman impression will be for all to see.

I hope Doug pays the lad off he is a liability and has been for multiple games. Scary in what FL See's in picking him, says more about Wilson I think, FL has got thus one wrong and he hasn't got much wrong since taking the job.

It's bind faith

What you need at Kenilworth Road against a physical side is a no-nonsense goalkeeper, not prioritising one that is decent with his feet. It baffles me that Wilson hasn't come in. I would understand it if Wilson is just not rated by Lampard but the fact he signed a new contract would suggest otherwise.

i think the staff are worried that Collins will have a breakdown if he is dropped! if he has such a brittle mentality then why the fuck are we pissing about?

Actually had a good game until that massive error.
What went through his head to come out for that Kitching had it covered and Collins came over and wiped him out missed the ball and left the goal open. He’s ruined what was a good performance for himself with a very poor misjudgement which ultimately lead to defeat.
Should never wear a coventry shirt again with the amount of points and goals he’s cost us.

Prime Lee Burge that. Walsall away came for a hopefully punt forward.

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."

Absolutely dreadful decision from Lampard, I think he has to take as much of the blame as Collins.

I wonder rid he got too confident after some good punches

But just shows he isn't secure in his role at all

Playing him is actually doing him more harm than good. He should never be making a decision like that, his shot stopping was good today but he has again cost us from his brain dead decision making.
I feel for him but he should never play in a cov shirt again. Lampard should also be taking responsibility at this point, that is a scary amount of individual errors leading to goals and points dropped in 1 season.
