The issue is that he has been terrible since he came back.

He constantly kicked it out of play. He's better as a defender for the opposition the way he kills momentum,

Being a bit harsh on him, he’s just come back, there’s players a lot fitter who are playing a lot worse,

Haven’t bottled it. Have ran full pelt at a wall in the hope that backup would arrive.

Though if we do crumble we would indeed be the worst ever at this level to do it.

People will be saying he's just come back in April. He's been back 11 games.

And as for bottling it, have a look at mboro, that’s bottling it… we’re just knackered, can’t blame the manager or the players, not sure what some fans expect of them,

It’s all up to Doug now, he holds the key to us going up, if he doesn’t spend money then he’s a massive fraud that can fuck off if he isn’t willing to invest in the squad. We’re so close now we can’t throw it away because he won’t spend

can Robins be persuaded back?

Lately Robins has been bottling it at Stoke. So I don’t think he could mend things for us now.

Our squad is thin and depleted. Desperately low in depth, quality, morale, confidence, ideas, energy and anything positive at the moment. Our aura of invincibility is gone and we’re looking very vulnerable. We’ve been on this downward trajectory for awhile now and everyone has been saying it will be okay and seemingly nothing could stop us from getting promoted. Unfortunately, the warning signs are very real now and I don’t think those in the “doom and gloom” camp can be faulted for their pessimism/bedwetting.

Don't think we were knackered, we dominated possession and had chances, bad defending for all 3 goals

Rushworth has saved us many times this season but 2 mistakes in the last 2 games have cost us 4 points.

Against Charlton pushes a loopy shot straight to an attacker in the centre of the goal rather than pushing it wide. Today gets beaten at his near post for the 3rd.

Keepers errors tend to cost you points.

None of the the back 5 today come out with any credit.

We are still in the playoffs.

It seems we are currently going in this direction. Something needs to change at present.

The 15/16 Mowbray collapse a decade on. The difference is he had no money to spend at all. We have it now and must use it.

Woolfenden has a chance now to step up and show he can be a starter. Difficulty when we were flying but now he has a chance.
Hopefully Kelser-Hayden isn't out too long as Van Ewijk needs a rest.

He needed a rest when KKH was fit, but didn't get one

On the plus side, least it wasn’t a home game, I’d really start to worry if we play like that against Leicester, and amazing what a fresh pair of legs can do, they’re LB was quality,

What if we have a two week break and the players still look fucked and we take 1 point from the Leicester and Millwall games?

Bringing Rudoni and Wright straight back in has cost us.

Simms gets player of the month, dropped for Wright. He's even scraped goals in the last couple of games where Wright has just been hiding again like he did in the playoffs.

This team looks low on confidence, shattered, not using their brains anymore and sub standard.

We won’t finish in the autos come the end of the season. Everyone else is coming good and we’re fucking up. The mentality isn’t there to be winners.

Team needs help asap to have a chance now.

Hold on .. MVE bad for 1 goal and Rushworth beaten for the 3rd front post .. its not always bobby and liam

Thought both centre backs had a role in the third. Bobby is a yard or two behind the line which gives the player the chance to run through without being caught offside. All round though as an entire defensive unit for every goal nobody comes out with any credit. Clearly no communication at all there.

He doesn't hide, and he isn't lazy.

He's bang out of form and his decision making is particularly poor, but those kind of criticisms of him are just plain lazy.

Our run of form demonstrates the need for reinforcements. However, our form also increases the risk of spending if we continue to slip. Gamble either way.

Those of us who were nervous, had every right to be nervous today.

Could see a defeat coming this afternoon.

Though, EMC was denied an obvious penalty. This can't keep happening. So many penalty decisions going against us.

I thought performance wise we were back to our best. Cant ever remeber dominating the ball so much. Defensively we have to tighten up. 3 very soft goals.

Did they even have shot on goal 2nd half.

Agree we have been denied 4 stone wall penalties recently.

Thing that worries me is if its not this season its literally never

Its taken us 25 years, a quarter of a century to get into this position, and the league this season is mental and you have to capitalise.

My concern being if we blow it this year, firstly we have another 'rebuild' to do and we all know that means starting slowly and playing catch up again. Teams such as Birmingham and Wrexham with their cash will be stronger than they are this year. There will be another 3 parachute teams in the mix to add to Ipswich, Southampton, Leicester, etc

We all came to terms with the play off final knowing we were nowhere near ready off the field or on it. This is THE golden opportunity, and if we dont take it we never ever will. It absolutely has to be this season
