I read earlier that Boothroyd really wants to get to know his players as individuals and I guess be a mate. Wanting to know about their families, their girlfriends and generally being close to them.

I can only see this as a good thing from a man management point of view?

Boothroyd has got a big job on his hands but will do well for ccfc in the new season, tAKING US to the playoff.

There's a big job on at City to turn us around, no doubt. My only concern so far has been the whole thing about playing ugly to win. That and the fact I keep forgetting he's our manager now!

I'll be interested to see who he brings in and what sort of football he'll have us playing, it's going to be a tough league next year.
