If i was Doug and this form carries on Thomas, Kitching, Wright, Rudoni and Milan would be told to come with your agent as contract extensions are on the table.

Think we'd of all been happy with £10m when this thread was made, now I think £15m would have us turning our noses up!

Nope - said at the time it was silly. Not sure why people wanted him or Kitching changed, Great combination let down by what was behind them. Seeing the benefit now playing in front of Rushworth.

Have the club officially linked him or do you mean on Twitter? Not quite the same thing.

A team expected to finish above us, with a bigger budget than us, want him to sign for them. Can you not see how your logic might be flawed?

Surely there’s an argument he’s the best CB in the division? What he gives you offensively is the difference maker, he’s going to be worth 10-12 goals come the end of the season

His goals certainly come in very handy but I think expecting him to get 10-12 is getting a bit carried away. I doubt if he will get more than about 6.

I’ll be very happy to eat humble pie if you are right and I’m wrong 😆

Not just the ones he scores, also those he “creates”.
Haji’s at Sheff We’d, BTA’s at P’mouth, Saka’s on Tuesday etc

This season has helped to show his worth. When Thomas plays well win most of the time and don't lose. When Thomas doesn't play we lose. 8m? He is worth a lot more than that to us.

Would have been mad even back then to sell. We’d have been forced into the market at the end of the window just to help Sheffield United. Why would we have done that?

In August, I would probably have accepted the reported £8m bid for him, as long as we had someone lined up to replace him.
I'm glad we didn't sell him now, as Bobby's form has been excellent.
The fact that we managed to stiff Wrexham for £6m and offload our oft injured captain, went a long way to fund our annual deficit.
Also, bigger clubs (lower prem ?) will probably have him somewhere on their radar...goals scoring/creating centre halves are always handy.

He’s a bit of a lolloper but he’s bloody huge and now he’s not expected to play the incisive ball into the strikers feet he’s so much more effective

They couldn’t afford him now!!! £45m is a lot for a championship club
