Look fadz is mid 30s and has been a remarkable buy for us given his return and efforts .. maybe his time is up maybe it isn't but his game time will surely start to dwindle from this point.. love the blokeI was saying on the way back to the car, if we ditch the back 3 I can’t see mcfadz playing many more minutes. Not knocking him, he’s been one of our best signings in the last 10 years and absolutely brilliant for us.
lots of potential with kitching and Thomas , looks a very big brutish partnership. Kitching has certainly got the passing ability aswell

With those two plus Bidwell and Lati.IMO that the most solid our defence has looked all season.
You thought Stoke looked awful .I think we made them look that way it's great we all see things from different angles.What I will say the longer the game went on the less they looked like scoring.That back four looked solid.Agree with you last point.(great sevant)Though Stoke looked awful so let's see how it goes in the next few games.

They both did ok today, but I still don’t think either of them are good enough for a side pushing for the top 6
You could say stoke were only as good as we allowed them to be.Though Stoke looked awful so let's see how it goes in the next few games.

Personally would have had Binks and Mcfadzean in the centre but obviously Mcfadzean couldnt play so id have today had Binks and Thomas. Thomas did look much better than any other match he played. back 4 is the way to go with the holding midfielders. to give us a solid base.Thought they did well as a unit. Not sure it's what I'd have gone with, but need to stick with it now. Clean Sheet should instill confidence and can't keep chopping and changing that back line every game.

But a back 4 like today will sit deeper wont it? latabadieure definitely was more defensive than when we play wing backs so would he not be ok in a back 4? Thomas is hardly overly quick either. I do see Thomas as the long term Fadz replacement just dont want to rush him thats all.He's far to slow for that now, he just can't get back quick enough.

Yes, erratic!... Was it him that have alway a ridiculous foul on 94mins giving them a chance to put a set piece into our box!?Thomas had a good game today for the most part but he can also be incredibly erratic and looks like he’ll definitely get more than one red card during his time here. Ref was quite lenient with him today, managed to get away with what was basically a rugby tackle at one point
Loved the tackle Thomas made which sent the ball flying through the corner flag. A crime that someone didn’t shout ‘av it
