People here at work are going mental.

They were fully expecting further blocks to open as a reasonable assumption.

Seems crazy to me. God bless SAGs eh?

Why wouldn’t they release more if the demand is there? Bizarre if not. As has been said, policing this should be no more complicated than a Blues Villa game, although that would be moved to a midday kick off.

Better off having them inside the ground than hundreds outside hankering after spares

I pay for my season ticket and an ifollow season pass. It's great that I can watch all the games that I can't attend, they don't need to crack down on VPNs where people are still paying they need to clamp down on Facebook dickheads robbing the club and trampy pubs trying to drive up custom.

What is the incentive to travel to away games if I can watch it at home for £10. My day out in Doncaster cost me about £40 in fuel and ticket, plus £3 for a cup of tea. I left at 11.30 got back at 7. Watching on TV is no where near as good as being there, but if you weigh up the options I think a lot more people will choose to stay at home. Great for those who live overseas, understandable if you live a long way away. If you live local however I think it is ultimately taking money from the club.

But lots of people (like me) rarely go away anyway. Our away attendances have been excellent this season while iFollow has been available.

Also don’t away ticket sales go to the other club anyway? So actually I gave the club more money for the Donny game than you did!

Because it's much better to go out to an away day and watch the football live. The club still earns the vast majority of the money from ifollow too. We sell out most of our away allocations. Would you rather those that can't go miss out and the club be poorer?

If it’s 50/50, how come “sold out” is 9,500 - St Andrews holds 28k doesn’t it

Ifollow is infuriating for me and I hope they can clamp down more on the use of VPN’s. I know fans like Nick are paying for it, but a lot watch on Facebook streams or down the pub. Ironically, it’s those fans that are the first to complain when we have to sell a player.

It isn't the VPNs that ruin it, it is people re-streaming it on social media. I saw a screenshot from one the other week and there was over 1,000 people watching it.

Don't be tight, you can get a season pass for about £120 with every game if you wanted to and the money still goes into the club.

Exactly!

Don't get me wrong, I will watch shady links for games that aren't on iFollow or for the Premier League but if I can't go to an away day then I will happily just pay to watch it with iFollow. The money goes into the club that way and it saves pissing about.

This is now added at the bottom of the ccfc statement
* We are unable to use all of the Tilton Road Stand due to unique segregation, the stadium layout and the location of the turnstiles for this area being in the same corner as those in the Main Stand that will be used by Birmingham City fans.

Should have said this before getting to selling the last few tickets but probably like cwr they didn’t think ccfc fans would be clamouring for tickets

Pretty sure Dave Boddy said on CWR last week that we could have up to 16k?
