With all this talk of Haynes, thought I'd check where he ended up. He seems to have just rocked up at Hamilton, having been deemed not good enough for Cambridge.

Bit surprised tbh, always thought he looked half-decent for us and, given we don't do left backs really, was one of our better ones over the years!

So is my judgement of a player shocking ;) or did we have the best of him?

I quite liked him, great engine and not terrible defensively. His final ball let him down. I am really surprised how his career has gone, he was pretty consistent for us.

From what I saw of him he was better than Haynes is now.

He's still only 25 too, so should be coming into his peak.

He wasn't very good imo. He played in a very attacking free scoring team which helped him.

Doesn't shock me where he is.

I'm sure that I hears somewhere that he has quite bad asthma and has trouble recovering after games so it may be due to his health that he hasn't pushed on.

Remember something about asthma too, had to stop for inhalers a few times.

Thought he was a good full back.
Heard we only got rid as if he played another match it would have cost us more

Career stats speak for themselves I'm afraid and he's clearly another dud

I've always been surprised at his tumble down the leagues since coming here. Rated him quite highly.

But I also thought Malaga looked decent in his friendly appearances after he signed and I never seen him play for us again, so I'm assuming I'm a shit judge of a good player
