Ephron just doesn't get enough assists (and neither does dasilva) making the left side unproductive unless he's scoring goals too. It leaves Haji with very little service, which I think is part of the problem up top.

According to this we get the same from left as we do from right. MvE and EMC have 8 assists a piece and Sakamoto and Dasilva 3 a piece

Given that we've scored 84 goals it isn't a great deal, especially as we put so much emphasis on playing wingers and getting crosses into box! It's a secondary source of goals, at best.

But usually a lot of our crosses are from our fullbacks and CMs like Grimes and Torp, EMC and Saka whilst still crossing the ball offer a more direct approach

Any chance of these numpty's at CWR asking how bad SAKAMOTO's injury is and whether he'll be fit for the Blackburn game.

The trouble is we don't have a better solution at the moment.

What's happening with KKH? Thought he'd recovered from the ankle injury but he's not making the squad??

I know he was bought as cover for MVE who plays every minute but he's had a few cameo roles playing a bit further forwards and if Esse isn't going to be used as cover for Saka, KKH must surely be worth a thought unless the decision has already been made to look to move him on and avoid risking injury.
