They think we still give out 4k allocations... not knowing we have half that stand now, as they took a leave of absence from the Champ last season!

Thankfully so! Down to 2700 from just over 3000 as well to allow us seats in Block 5. Great move from the club.

Tbf my post about charging them extra for smashing up the toilets was very much tongue in cheek. Our prices are a disgrace. I imagine King’s thought process is that with 23,500 season tickets, 3k away fans and hospitality seats the vast majority of our fans won’t notice or care about the price of a single match ticket but that doesn’t make it right.

The away club pay for any vandalism. It’s an own goal.

That's completely unacceptable, i hope we consider knocking the price down for the chad fans of CCFC and perhaps raising the price for the virgin Blues fans even more to cover the losses.

Did you mean to say chav,or is chad a new term?

£45 for a Championship match is ludicrous and we should hold ourselves to the standard we should hold others. Actually pretty ashamed, tbh

It's ok ,not the greatest but I love going . Cheap prices ,cheap beer , crowds full of stunning women and a great atmosphere at Port . Andros Townsend signed for one of the other tier 1 sides recently.

I wonder what the crowd will be. Can't imagine many Coventry locals being keen on spending £45/46 a ticket.

Birmingham is a relatively decent game but it's hardly an exciting fixture at those prices.

West Brom will be worse as they won't sell out the away end.

Remarkable if it is.

If I didn't have a season ticket, I'd struggle to come to terms with paying £46 for a 12:30 game against Birmingham.

Tickets are overpriced of course.

But it's billionaire-backed clubs like Birmingham splashing cash on transfers and wages that pushes other clubs into measures like this just to keep up.

If they’re happy to celebrate their contribution to fueling inflation in football, then they can't moan about paying the price.

They will, whether we do I'm not sure. Where this will really bite is Albion. They won't pay it, can see lowest crowd of the season for that. Won't be a bad thing, £82 for an adult and young child just isn't on. Leicester is relatively expensive and even there the equivalent is only £44.

It’s just wrong, more Sky games and part of that package should be to protect attendance and cap at a price level similar to the PL.
Look how our fans squealed about Leeds, we’re doing the same now so expect it to be reciprocated and we we just pay more to go away. I know we sell out as do other teams so you can see why owners will do it but it’s still wrong to me.

We had this with West Brom a couple of years ago with talks of a boycott, but they then had a run of form before playing us and sold their tickets. The same will apply this time. If they are in form and feeling positive they will sell out regardless, but if not they will make a big fuss about boycotting the game.
