"s a bunch of fans, you've just gotta accept that we've got more than our fair share of gob-shites, idiots, scruffs & back-dated wannabee hoolies....

.....Still, I'm not moaning.... You all just make me look even more witty, handsome & stylish than I actually am"

We've got loads, before the game outside the ticket office, my birmingham supporting mate said something along the lines of ' youve probably got the ugliest set of fans ive ever seen' and inferred that lots looked trampy! haha, but nevermind that i just wish theyd save their mickey mouse songs for wacky warehouse sometime

Are you all actually having a laugh???? We beat the
Brummies. Who are now a league above us. Played better
Got a great result. And "tried to have fun". If you're not happy
Go and sit somewhere else. And don't be a killjoy for the rest of us enjoying the occasion. Jesus Christ.

I am certain we are not alone in the proportion of dullards we have who follow the Club. I am no fan of 'I just can't get enough', 'your Mum's your Dad' and some of our less thoughtful chants, but I am of an age now where I can opt out of the ones I don't like and join in with the ones I do like. Plus, it makes any that crop up which are actually quite funny all the more worth joining in and sharing around. Live and let live, I would rather 90% of the crowd sang shit songs than the 5% I have accidentally stood around at away games screaming abuse at City players who are a mere few metres away.

PS - I missed the Bury and Blues games, but - for what it's worth - hope the Poznan doesn't take off. Man City pinched it off Poznan. They are officially the UK ambassadors. Leave them to it... we can't pinch it off the telly!

The worst bit is having little boys in cov shirts no older that 15 seriously beckoning over Birmingham fans mostly over twice their age. Hmm, I wish they'd have been at highfield road for a certain Portsmouth game..

Brum fans are the most moronic retarded fucking thick idiotic fans I've ever met. They hate everyone. Over in brum&the black country their known as the tramps who play at the pig sty. I've worked in brum for 18 years so ive got a pretty good idea of what they are like.

Absolutely. Maybe I've just got a lot older but I feel it's a lot worse now than it was. The West Terrace was always a good laugh, great atmosphere and banter.

Now it seems we are plagued with pissed up 15 year old brainless chavs, who given half a chance will kick off trouble.

I can't believe there's people's on here saying about the state of our fans. FFS we played Birmingham, half of their support was below 20, chavy fans, chavy shit hole full of looters.

I can't believe there's fans out there maoning about what songs we sign and what they are, at the end of day we go to create a good atmosphere and that's what we did last night. The poznan last night I didn't agree with either it just made the 15 years olds make us look silly, but it has to be said there are a few 15 years olds last night who a credit to coventry who sung there hearts out

I think all these chants and songs are better than nothing although I do agree we have a disproportionate amount of 15 year old 'hard nuts' giving it the big 'un to away fans. The only thing the corner lacks is big numbers as when you sit up there it feels quite busy but sat in the Telegraph its quite a small number. With continued success will hopefully come bigger support back at the Ricoh....... and from some of the 'Proper Lads' who may have dropped off a bit................then watch it rock !!

Surely if we sign songs that would be considered to be mighty impressive and the deaf charities would be chuffed to bits.

Whilst i usually sit in the scoreboard corner and do sing, and think although we've got a drum, (which is always a sign of small time support) fairplay to everyone trying to make some noise, there really were some cringeworthy songs etc last night.
1)Ive arrived at work, not to be ridiculed about the score but about the cringeworthy small time 'posnan' at the end, which i agree 100% with, it was embarrasing and i refused to join in.
2) kids making slit your throat gestures to the birmingham fans, when most of their fans in the away end would walk over any of them
3) that gay 'just cant get enough' song, sounds s***, mickey mouse and lots of other small time teams sing it

I just wish our support was more like West ham,Leeds or even Birmingham, rather than like a Blackpool or a Reading and sharing mickeymouse chants

Said something very similar in the Chelsea Dagger thread. Since our move from Highfid Road, it feels like we've lost everything that was unique about us. The Terrace is now the Tesco stand, the naught corner or singers corner - I don't know which one of those sounds worse!

Even though the drum does sound a bit feeble at times, it does keep fans singing. Is the drummer on here? Maybe we could get some new songs to him

Now the drum idea I do like. I remember when Portsmouth came up last season what an atmosphere it created. They had a few though I think, more of a mini 'England supporters band'. But i actually found myself tapping my foot to THEIR bloomin tune. But it worked they sang through most of the game, even after we scored our second they piped up a fair few times. I was quite envious that we didn't have similar.

Maybe we should get him some friends and get the Ricoh a proper sound and a proper beat. Get the Ricoh Rocking!!

The drum has been took over so many times.
Its had about 5 different owners in the past few years.
The lad at the moment tbf to him sings his heart out home and away.

With out B14/15/16 we'd be even more of a laughing stock than we already are!

Exactly Otis...we're not the Blues...we're the Sky Blues. You think he'd have at least added 87 on to the end of his username to make it more plausible! ;-)

The worst song is the "how shit must you be" song, hate it with a passion and can't believe its carried over to this season as well

Take it easy lads. Any noise is better than being in a stadium quieter than a morgue.

If you don't like certain songs start off the ones you do like if you are that passionate. If there is any you don't like just don't join in. Simple.

I can't stand the poznan, it loses its charm when every club does it.

Re: Marlon king it could've been you.... Presume that's about he could have been playing for us in next round of the cup.
