I am not sure I can see the good performance some are talking about so far. Other than a short spell following our goal, we look second best too often again.

Less up for the fight than them, less able to win second balls, less willing to bust a gut to get back when we are under the cosh. Physically we just look weak and scared, and anyone watching this, or our last few games, would be wondering how we are top.

MvE, JDS, Sakamoto have been dreadful. EMC and Rudoni flattering to deceive. I kind of get what Simms is trying to do, but he looks clumsy at times and I don't really back him in a physical battle, which is going to be inevitable as he is so isolated. Just far too many players off it again, and if teams are aggressive with us we just seem to cave. Second half needs to be better.

100% of this XI is fucked and exhausted. I saw both Grimes and MVE have moments where they were dazed and snapped to it when the ball came to them. Birmingham are first to everything, they're outpacing our defence and our buildup play is boring, predictable and slow.

Some of the players look very tired.

Still think we look like we can score, just hope it happens early second half so we don’t have to chase the game too hard. No real options to change the game on the bench, doesn’t look like one for Wright.
