I still think away fans should be held in the ground for 20 minutes after the final whistle to allow home fans to clear off out the area.

That depends very much on the result.

Exactly. If they are so worried about big scary Birmingham, keep them in.

I just hope Boddy doesn't fold in negotiations with the stadium/police/SAG for Block 13 and 4/5.

Well rumour on the grapevine is they're having a few of the 'old guard' coming to cause chaos next week

Friend of mine works in Brum with a load of blues fans and they've been earmarking this game for a while to ruin the party on and off the pitch apparently

For a one off, volatile game perhaps, but I'd hate to see this stuff return to the game on a regular basis. Imagine being 3-0 down at a midweek away game and being told you can't leave. I was never comfortable with this years ago, herding people like cattle. It's a no from me.

So technically it’s a sell out right now, as in all available tickets have been sold

They need to clear those Boylesports banners, open blocks 11, 12, & 13, and get 31k in there

Is anyone a bit worried that we don't seem to turn up for a big occasion? or is it just me. We had a good crowd for Stoke.... who incidentally haven't won since beating us.

Every game is a big occasion for me! I worry. yesterdays game was the only one that I actually felt at ease, surprisingly, given the chances created and gyokores missing the ones he’d normally score.

This silly story gets said everytime they play us at the Ricoh. They haven’t got anything else to play for so the dickwaving begins. There will be a couple of 17 year olds in entry level Stone Island jackets shouting Zulu army and that’s it. How that influences spoiling the party on and off the pitch, is beyond me

Do your friend’s work colleagues tell you they shag supermodels each weekend too?

Remember that huge thread on it around 10 years ago because it was the Zulu anniversary? Nothing happened, obviously.

I do think there will be a fair few twats next week, but also probably the biggest police operation we've seen since the ground opened. It'll all pass without incident you'd think.

I think this game gets made all ticket by tomorrow. Will have to open POTG blocks today I imagine.

Blues will have 6-10.

11 & 12 will be segregation. But no reason at all that 13 can’t be opened up for home fans

By virtue of it being a bigger crowd there will be a few more, but it’s a big game for us because of our play offs aspirations, not because it’s against Birmingham. It would be a big crowd if we were playing Wigan, Peterborough or Mansfield. We’ve played Birmingham before at the Ricoh with decent crowds and I only remember incidents in 2008 and when we played them in the cup games….

Let’s not let some tossers sat in their mum’s spare room coming up with porkies, detract from a great day or put people off going to the game for fear of it kicking off.

I don’t dislike Birmingham in the slightest and wish them good luck for next season.

I get that Boddy can't storm into a meeting making demands but at some point pressure needs to be applied and we're at that point now. Can't use the its not really an issue because there's thousands of empty seats excuse anymore

The question needs to be asked of the police of why they are not capable of policing a crowd as other forces around the ground manage week in week out. There's zero evidence that we have more trouble than anywhere else, in fact the arrest numbers would suggest the opposite

If they need all these restrictions in place, the stupid barrier in the car park, restrictions on capacity, multiple blocks 'no mans land' then their competency needs to be questioned

We hear this all the time and nothing ever happens. Like when we were at Brum and there was supposed to carnage at New Street every week

If there are dickheads who want to fight then its easy to arrange something that's not around the ground where kids and people just wanting to go to a game can potentially get caught up in it

I doubt Brummie Nick will make it for fear of losing his first in queue slot for CWR post match phone in. Delivering his expert tactical knowledge and assessment based on a radio commentary.

Tell the Police to Foxtrot Oscar.

The stadium has a valid safety certificate to allow 32k football spectators in. It is up to the club as to how many tickets they sell providing they stay within the limit in the safety certificate.

The Police only advise. They're useless anyway. They all stood around scratching their fat arses when that loser ran on the pitch earlier.

The police and safety haven't got a clue how to run the stadium, one incident after the game bought it to a standstill trying to get away.

In hindsight, I wish they limited Birmingham to 1900 and gave us the South Stand.

Obviously not wanting to tempt fate, but why did they rush in to give them 4500?

Given Doug thinks ticket revenue is key, the optics of leaving swathes of the ground empty whilst considering increasing ticket prices for next season would not be good.

Tickets that have just gone on sale in POTG blocks being snapped up quickly. Think we will fully sell out by end of tomorrow.
