So, the summary is that it could be happening, maybe even very likely to happen, but isn't yet set in concrete and we don't know when it's going to be announced?

Unless someone starts saying it's not happening and all fallen apart I'm not bothered if they announce it today, next week or whenever, it'd be a relief to have it confirmed but it's not like anyone's missing out on the chance to get up there to see a game at the moment

Yep, as long as it's announced before next years season ticket details are released, can't see the issue

Stringent confidentialty agreements will no doubt be in place between the two parties to ensure no leaks are possible - I would speculate that both parties are aware of the minor leaks to Simon gilbert or other news broadcasters - Therefore it sounds like a deal is on track as he mentioned

Nothing is ever set in stone until it's official, but I think we can be pretty hopeful.

As soon as it is announced though, I'm getting that third kit which will immediately stop feeling like a pisstake.

Getting close to when we’d want to get season tickets sold. Also it would be a hugely positive announcement to have a long term deal in coventry.

I've actually recently been shagging Joy Seppala and she told me that she's glad to be at the end of such a massive thing.

I assume she means completing Ricoh negotiations but you never know

Yeah but if we move back to the Ricoh, where are the goals (physical objects) going to come from?

I would really hope Ricoh Arena is set in concrete and that's it has better quality concrete than St Andrews. Another very good reason for coming home !

Thank you but you missed dodgy of course....
However only when I wondered why we haven't heard from Les Reid who usually has the inside track from SISU. (Which would strongly suggest it's not SISU leaking anything.) However it seems I have imagined that he had the inside track with SISU and that was never the case
I am also dodgy when I don't for one second believe there will be a new stadium, which I assumed was a common view.
In relation to my views on Rotherham, Max, Derby, the ref, Sheaf, Baka, Walker ect I think my account seems OK then.

High Alumina Cement (HAC), sometimes known as calcium aluminate cement (CAC) or aluminous cement, is composed of calcium aluminates, unlike Portland cement which is composed of calcium silicates. It is manufactured from limestone or chalk and bauxite (Special clay having extremely high alumina content).29 Dec 2020

Yeah it didn't come out well.
These were some images of the ingredients/compounds in its formulation.
It was banned from use in structural çoncrete I think , although still used for precast components.

HAC was used in the grouting for the post tensioning cables to the roof beam in the sky blue stand that fell down back in 1983
we had to strengthen and check every other beam in that roof but it was only the outer end that had HAC because they were built before the middle sections which used OPC grout The roof was eventually replaced with a steel structure until someone knocked it down in 2005/2006

I think when the news was announced it was pretty misleading by making it sound imminent.

If they had said "A deal is close to being completed" it would be more realistic. People were expecting it by the end of last week and obviously the longer it goes without an announcement the more annoyed they get.

Unless that's the intention.

This was never going to happen overnight I’m puzzled so many thought it would at the moment I view it as a cloud with a silver lining, the fact something might be in the wind is the only plus at the moment.

Oh look.

Are we shocked?

Council members had no idea how close a deal was then all of a sudden things are delayed?

Alternatively, neither Wasps nor CCFC / SISU trust one another after numerous fallings out, so want their lawyers to go over everything with a fine-toothed comb, and that's why it's delayed...

Lawyers will pour over contracts regardless of trust between parties.

One would have thought from the tone of last weeks Announcement that will already have been done

Given SISU in particular have shown themselves rather litigious, it would be a nutter indeed who didn't give it an extra look.

I am, admittedly, slightly worried it's a bit of stalling before a war of words breaks down. It wouldn't be the first time, after all...

Probably, but the announcement wasn't from one of the involved parties.
